Update On Brock Lesnar Vs Roman Reigns Feud – WWE is going to continue to stay the course with storyline plans for Roman Reigns and there are no signs that he will be dropping the Universal Championship anytime soon.
As previously reported, the plan is to get more time out of the Brock Lesnar – Roman Reigns feud, which means that their feud will not end at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
If The Rock is not going to be available for WrestleMania then it would make sense for a definitive conclusion to the feud on that show. A source close to the creative process told WrestlingNews.co that Reigns is expected to hold the Universal Title for a long time and there are no plans for him to drop it this year.
Also, we were told that after Crown Jewel, Lesnar is not scheduled for any more WWE shows this year and the next time he is scheduled to wrestle is during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view in St. Louis. The 2022 Royal Rumble is scheduled for Saturday, January 29 at The Dome at America’s Center.
As noted earlier, WWE management is said to be very happy with Reigns as a heel and he is the top merchandise seller.
