NXT 2.0 Results – October 5, 2021 – Tonight’s NXT 2.0 episode opens up with a video package to promote the Fatal 4 Way for the NXT Tag Team Titles.

We’re live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us, hyping the Fatal 4 Way that was originally announced as an eight-man tag team match. Vic is joined at ringside by Wade Barrett and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.

Mandy Rose vs. Ember Moon

We go right to the ring and out first comes Toxic Attraction – Mandy Rose with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Out next comes Ember Moon as Alicia Taylor does the introductions.

They lock up and Mandy with a side head lock and take down.  Ember with a head scissors and Mandy escapes.  Mandy with a side head lock and Ember with a shoulder tackle.  Ember shakes her rear end as she stands over Mandy.  Mandy with a slap.  Ember with punches and she puts Mandy in the tree of woe.  Mandy is helped to the floor and Ember with a suicide dive onto Jayne.  Mandy charges at Ember and Ember catches Mandy and power bombs her into the apron.  Ember returns to the ring but Mandy with a forearm to the head.  Mandy with a reverse gutwrench suplex for a near fall.   Mandy with kicks in the corner followed by a snap mare.  

Mandy with a body scissors and Moon leans back to get a near fall.  Mandy with a punch.  Mandy with an abdominal stretch.  Ember with a hip toss to escape.  Ember with a rolling elbow and enzuigiri.  Ember with a snap mare and she goes to the turnbuckles.  Ember with a Codebreaker.  Ember goes to the turnbuckles again and sets for Eclipse but Mandy moves and Ember rolls through.  Mandy with a running knee for the three count.

Winner:  Mandy Rose

— Vic asks Beth about how her family is doing after what Seth Rollins did and Beth says that Adam will take care of things.

— We go to Legado Del Fantasma.  Santos says that everyone is talking about Hit Row going to Smackdown and the draft saved your asses.  Elektra says that she shut up B-Fab.  Raul says that Santos will take care of Swerve.  Santos challenges Scott for the North American title.

We go to commercial.

Odyssey Jones versus LA Knight

Knight backs up and hr realizes that the ring is a finite size.  Knight avoids Jones and he punches Jones but it has no impact.  Jones misses a splash in the corner.  Jones tosses Knight into the corner and hits a splash followed by a biel.  Jones biels Knight again.  Knight rolls to the floor.  Jones follows and Knight begs for his life.  Knight runs into Jones and goes down.  Knight with a drop toe hold into the corner.  Knight with forearms to Jones.  Knight chokes Jones in the ropes.  Knight continues to choke Jones in the ropes.  Knight kicks Jones and hits a leaping elbow drop.  Knight gets a near fall.  Knight with punches.

Knight goes for a slam but that is probably not a good idea because Knight collapses under Jones’ weight.  Jones with punches and clotheslines.  Jones with a body block.  Jones with a gutbuster.  

Andre Chase gets on the apron and Jones punches Chase off the apron.  Jones turns around and Knight with a neck breaker for the three count.

Winner:  LA Knight

— McKenzie Mitchell is in the back with Cameron Grimes.  Grimes says love is in the air.  He mentions the wedding and now you have Cora Jade and Trey Baxter.  Cameron says he is jealous and he is looking for a lucky lady.

Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland enter and Pete says no one would want Grimes. Pete challenges Grimes and Grimes is more interested in hitting on some ladies.

— NXT Men’s Champion Tommaso Ciampa makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

— We are back and Kyle O’Reilly wants to talk to Von Wagner.  Kyle asks why did Von have his back.  Von says he took and opportunity and he jumped on it.  He does not like Dunne or Holland.  He respects Kyle.  Kyle says he does not trust anyone.  He asks Von to handle his business himself.

— Tommaso Ciampa is in the ring.  on October 26th, Halloween Havoc returns to NXT.  The champ needs an opponent and he knows that this roster is full of hungry men and women.  One man in particular says he is not a patient man.  He wants to be the flag bearer of NXT and that is fine and dandy.  Actions speak louder than words so the question is, Who has the BALLS to come out here and take my NXT Title from me?

Bron Breakker makes his way to the ring. Bron and Ciampa have some words under the sound of the mic.

Breakker says he has treated Ciampa with nothing but respect since he walked in the door.  He does not care how long he has been here, he wants to be the NXT Champion.  You said you wanted to fight someone with balls and I have the biggest balls in the locker room.  The match that everyone wants is me and you for that.

— Joe Gacy says that while social media crashed, he sat with a voice for an inclusive generation.  One place that won’t crash is NXT.  He will use the ring as a safe space tonight.  We gather in unity to show that conflict can be resolved peacefully and there can be two winners.

We go to commercial.

— We are back with Indi Hartewll and Persia Pirotta.  They talk about the honeymoon and Indi mentions that Dexter is not here tonight.  They see smoke under a door and open it.  Mei Ying and Boa are in there and Boa shuts the door in their faces.

Joe Gacy vs. Ikemen Jiro

Joe offers his hand to Jiro and Jiro shakes it.  They lock up and Jiro with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Gacy stays on his feet.  Gacy he has the power to knock him down and he tells Jiro to try again.  Gacy misses a clothesline and Jiro with a head scissors take down.  They shake hands again but Gacy holds on to Jiro and gives Jiro an Irish whip and follows with a splash.  Gacy with punches.  Gacy with a suplex.  Gacy with a back elbow.  Jiro with a reverse DDT.  Jiro with a jacket punch or two, even three.  Jiro with a discus jacket punch.  Jiro runs into a boot and Jiro with an enzuigiri as Gacy goes to the turnbuckles.  Jiro with a head scissors take down.  Jiro misses the Ikemen Slice and Gacy with a handspring clothesline and he gets the three count.

Winner:  Joe Gacy

After the match, Gacy picks up Jiro and he hugs Jiro. Joe heads to the back and he sees a man standing in the stands and Joe smiles at him.

— We have a video package for Cora Jade, who is next.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Duke Hudson is in a casino.  He says he is a professional poker player.  If I can play with your mind, it is over betore it begins.  We don’t discirminate.  All money is welcome because I am taking it.  Whether it is the ring or the felt, better luck next time.

Cora Jade vs. Virginia Ferry

Before the match starts, Monet attacks Ferry and sends her into the ring steps and hits a Glam Slam on the floor.

Cora Jade vs. Franky Monet

Monet with a clothesline and back elbow against the ropes.  Monet sends Jade into the turnbuckles and follows with an elbow and kicks.  Monet with an Irish whip and a running double knee strike.  

Trey Baxter comes out to the ring to root on Cora.  

Jade kicks Monet away but Moet with a surfboard and she sends Jade’s face into the mat.  Monet misses a splash into the corner and Jade with a knee.  Monet with a spear.  Monet goes for a Glam Slam but Jade counters with a victory roll for the three count.

Winner:  Cora Jade

— McKenzie is in the back to talk to MSK about the tag title match.  They say it is going to be tough tonight. The Grizzled Young Veterans show up and Gibson says they found a new loophole to add two other teams because they cannot beat us. Wes suggests that the match be an elimination match. The other two teams show up and they all brawl.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and McKenzie asks Tommaso Ciampa about Bron Breakker.  Ciampa says that Breakker is a blue chipper but he will face a main eventer against him at Halloween Havoc. Joe Gacy shows up and he says he heard Ciampa challenge anyone with the balls to face him.  Gacy says that Ciampa is using his privilege as champion.  Gacy says they would love to be included in an opportunity for the title. Ciampa says if Gacy wants a shot at the title, if he can beat Ciampa next week, Gacy can be added to the title match at Halloween Havoc.  Ciampa tells Gacy that ring will not be a safe space.

— We see NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez arriving at the arena.

Pete Dunne vs. Cameron Grimes

Grimes goes for the leg and Dunne with a front face lock.  Grimes with a wrist lock.  Dunne with a reversal and arm wringer.  Dunne drops back to the mat to work on the arm.  Dunne with a wrist lock.  Grimes with a snap mare and head scissors take down.  Grimes with arm drags into an arm bar.  Grimes with a side head lock and Dunne with a clothesline.  Dunne puts the arm on the mat and stomps on the elbow.  Dunne continues to work on the arm and he stretches Grimes and pulls at the fingers.  Grimes with punches.

Dunne with an arm wringer and a boot to Grimes.  Grimes punches Dunne many times.  Dunne misses a kick in the corner and Grimes with a running forearm or two.  Grimes with a running boot into the corner.  Grimes goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Grimes with a waist lock and Dunne blocks a German suplex attempt.  Dunne with a kick in the corner and a knee drop to the arm.  Dunne with a German suplex and he stomps on the hands and kicks Grimes for a near fall.  Dunne goes for a cross arm breaker but Grimes rolls Dunne up and gets a near fall.  Grimes with a back flip into a German suplex and he gets a near fall.

Grimes with a punch but Dunne with a kick and enzuigiri.  Holland pulls Dunne to the floor but Kyle O’Reilly attacks Holland.  Dunne sends Kyle over the announce table.  Grimes kicks Dunne from the apron and he goes for Cave In but Dunne sends Grimes into the ropes and Dunne with the Bitter End for the three count.

Winner:  Pete Dunne

After the match, O’Reilly goes after Dunne but Holland stops him and hits Emerald Frosion.

— We take a look back at Tony D’Angelo’s video packages because he is next.

We go to commercial.

— We are back with Hit Row.  Scott says the world is buzzing about Hit Row for going to Smackdown.  Dolla says they are not running from Legado.  He says they are running to the money.  Scott says he is sick of the back and forth.  B-Fab says she won’t be so nice the next time she faces Elektra.  Scott accepts Santos’ challenge.  The only way you are going to see this title is on Friday night.

— We take a look at what happened during the commercial break when Von Wagner helped Kyle O’Reilly.

Malik Blade vs. Tony D’Angelo

They lock up and Blade with a wrist lock but D’Angelo with a side head lock.  Blade gets a near fall with a rollup.  D’Angelo with a shoulder tackle.  Blade goes for the leg and D’Angelo with a side head lock.  Tony catches Blade on a cross body and hits a back breaker.  D’Angelo with ahoulders in the corner.  Tony with a punch.  Blade with forearms and a drop kick that sends Tony to the floor.  Dony with a spear for a near fall.  D’Angelo with a waist lock.  Blade with elbows but Tony sends Blade into the turnbuckles.

Tony with punches and he goes for an abdominal stretch but Blade escapes.  Blade with a jumping spin kick.  Blade with a clothesline into the corner and he hits a cross body for a near fall.  Blade with a La Magistral for a near fall.  Tony sends Blade into the turnbuckles and then he hits a belly-to-belly suplex.  Tony with a Nothern Lights suplex and he rolls through into a fisherman suplex for the three count.

Winner:  Tony D’Angelo

— Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are with McKenzie and she asks them about the tag title match.  Carmelo says they finessed their way into a tag title match and he did not have to use his contract.

Mei Ying vs. Indi Hartwell (with Persia Pirotta)

They lock up and Mei sends Indi to the mat.  Indi with a waist lock and Mei with an arm wringer and kick.  Mei bounces off the ropes and Indi with a side head lock.  Indi with a shoulder tackle and Mei stays on her feet.  Mei with a foerarm.  Mei chokes Indi and connects with a forearm.  Mei with a nerve hold and she keeps Indi on the mat.  Indi with punches and Mei blocks a kick and hits a short arm clothesline.  Mei grabs Indi by the throat and applies the Asiatic Spike and pushes Indi into the ring post.  Persia pushes Indi out of the way and Mei kicks Persia. Indi sends Mei into the ring post and hits a springboard elbow drop to the back for the three count.

Winner:  Indi Hartwell

— We go to Lash Legend and she says next week she is going to spill some tea.  Tony D’Angelo shows up and suggests that he be a guest on her show to get some guests. Lash says that she loved Tony in the new Sopranos movie.  Lash claims that she shut down Instagram and Facebook.

— NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.

— We are back with Diamond Mine.  Malcolm Bivens talks about the members of the group. Hachiman teaches everyone how to be better versions of themselves.  He has left bodies laying in every corner.  He won more titles than Tom Brady and he will kick Tom’s ass.

Ivy Nile is half human and half pitbull in the ring.  She asked if she has the green light to knock out any women and he said why not.  Ivy says that they saw something in her that she did not.

Brutus and Julius Creed are Division 1 Athletes and champions. 

Roderick Strong is the pulse of Diamond Mine.  Strong says this is such a special group that it took him to new heights.

Bivens says if you get in our way, you will regret it.

— Samantha Irvin is in the ring with Raquel Gonzalez.  Raquel says Toxic Attraction has been making headlines.  Do you know who you jumped last week?  I have been dominating this division for a year.  This is not just a fashion accessory.  I am the best female in the best division in the business.  If you think Sarray busted up your face with that drop kick.  You touch this title again and you won’t be posing for a million likes, you are going to be posing for a body bag.

Mandy Rose comes out with Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dollin.

Mandy tells Raquel to stop.  She says she used to admire Raquel’s strength, tenacity, and ambition.  You sound like someone who knows that their reigns is over.  We are taking over and not even an unstoppable Raquel Gonzalez will stop them.  Gigi says that Mandy is championship material and her and Jacy are champoinship material.

Raquel mentions the stitches that Gigi got from running her title belt into Gigi’s head.

Jacy says we can add jealousy to being desperate.  Yo umust be living under a rock.  We are all over Raw and Smackdown.  We are the faces of NXT.  We will be holding all of the gold in the women’s division.  We are not just Toxic Attraction, we are THE attraction.

They surround Raquel on the apron.

Before they can get in the ring, Zoey Stark and Io Shirai enter the ring through the fourth side of the ring and they stand with Raquel.

Gigi, Mandy, and Jacy decide to leave.  

Kyle O’Reilly is in the locker room and Von Wagner checks on him and he tells Kyle it is them against Ridge and Pete.  Whether you like it or not, I am the only one who has your back.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Io Shirai mentions that she doesn’t like Raquel either.  Zoey tries to remind Io that they are champions.  Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta show up and they talk about taking the tag titles.

Fatal Four-Way Elimination Tag Team Championship Match: MSK (c) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Jensen and Briggs vs. Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams

Gibson and Lee start things off and they lock up.  Gibson with a waist lock and ankle pick.  Lee with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Lee gets a near fall.  Lee with a handspring to get away from Gibson.  Lee with a side head lock and Carter tags in and they hit a series of kicks ending with a double stomp from Carter.  Carter with a springboard twisting arm drag and Hayes tags in.  Hayes with a kick and springboard clothesline.  Williams tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle.  Jensen tags in and he exchanges punches and Williams with a European uppercut and forearm.  Hayes tags in and Jensen with a reverse atomic drop.  Briggs and Jense with a double shoulder tackle.  They kick Williams after tagging back in.  Briggs brings Drake in and Jensen does the same to Gibson.  Briggs and Jensen go after Williams and Hayes.

Lee is tagged ina ndh e hits a flip dive onto Williams and Hayes.  Williams is sent into the ring and he tags in Carter.  Carter gets Williams up for the Hart Attack Blockbuster for the three count.

Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes eliminated

We are back and Gibson keeps Lee from making the tag and Gibson with a clothesline and he knocks Carter off the apron.  Drake tags in and he hits a flatliner as Gibson hits a missile drop kick to the back.  Drake gets a near fall.  Gibson tags back in and he gets a near fall.  Gibson with a forearm and he tags in Drake.  Lee kicks Gibson and Lee avoids Drake and tags in Carter.  Carter with a running double sledge to Gibson and Drake.  Carter with an ankle pick when Drake goes for a leap frog.  Carter with kicks in the corner and a kick to the chest.  Carter with a shooting star press and Gibson pulls Drake to the floor.  Carter with a moonsault off the turnbuckles onto Gibson and Drake on the floor.

Gibson grabs Carter’s leg and Drake with a waist lock when Carter gets back into teh ring.  gibson tags in and they hit Ticket to Mayhem but Briggs is the legal man.  Jensen punches Gibson and then Briggs with an assisted sit out power bomb for the three count.

Zack Gibson and James Drake Eliminated

Lee with kicks to Jensen followed by a drop kick.  Jensen with a European uppercut and then he tags in Briggs.  They hit a boot and side Russian leg sweep combination for a near fall.  Briggs with forearms to the back and Jensen tags in.  They hit a double choke slam on Lee.  Briggs grabs Lee and they set for the choke slam and power bomb combination but Carter takes care of Briggs and Lee with a victory roll for the three count.

Winners:  Wes Lee and Nash Carter

After the match, Jensen and Briggs hold the tag title belts and they give the belts to the champs and leave the ring.

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel attack Lee and Carter from behind. Briggs and Jensen go to the ring to help out Lee and Carter, but it is too late to get their hands on Barthel and Aichner.
