WWE RAW Results (9/20) Raleigh, NC– We begin with a look back at last week when Big E was able to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become the new WWE Champion.
— We are live from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, NC, as The New Day make their way to the ring for the Big E Championship Celebration.
Big E says today is not November 25th, but he is here to give thanks. Thanks to all of you who chanted New Day Rocks. Even to those who once chanted New Day Sucks. I forgive you. I am thankful for everyone who supported me as I climbed that ladder to get the briefcase. I am beyond grateful for all of you who lost your minds when I became WWE Champion.. I am grateful for all of you for all of you below the heavens and one above.
We are going to have this celebration a little short because we have business and that is against the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, The Usos and their little friend, their cousin, the Tribal Chief, the head of the table, Roman Reigns. Raw is our show. Tonight, we send the Bloodline packing and do you know why? Because…
Roman Reigns’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring with The Usos and Paul Heyman. Roman and Big E have a belt stand off. The two exchange some words as we go to commercial. The awaited match is next!
The Bloodline vs. The New Day
Back from the break and Kofi Kingston goes at it with SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso to start. Jimmy drops Kofi with a shoulder and then poses to boos in the corner. Kofi and Jimmy lock up now with Kofi working on the arm. Jimmy sends Kofi into the corner and hits a monkey flip but he lands on his feet. Kofi comes back and drops Jimmy for a 2 count.
Xavier Woods tags in and unloads on Jimmy. Kofi assists Woods before Woods nails the top rope flying elbow for a 2 count. Big E tags in and they double team Jimmy real quick for a 2 count. Big E keeps control and Woods comes back in to work on the arm as WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns watches from the apron. Jimmy counters and delivers a big headbutt, then a right hand. Jey Uso tags in and drops Woods, taunting him and talking trash while keeping him down.
Jey doesn’t see Kofi tag in as he counters Woods’ pin attempt. Kofi flies in off the top but Jey kicks out at 2. Jey turns it around on Kofi and tags back in Jimmy for a quick double team. Jey tags right back in to keep the assault to Kofi going. Kofi knocks Jimmy to the floor and counters Jey. Reigns tags in and ends up pulling Kofi to the floor. Reigns destroys Kofi with ease and tosses him through the air, over the announce table to the floor. We go to commercial with The New Day and The Bloodline having words at ringside.
Back from the break and Jey has control of Kofi in the ring. Jey charges in but gets sent to the floor. Jimmy tags in and knocks Woods off the apron with a superkick, preventing the tag. Kofi reaches for Big E but Jimmy stops him. Kofi with a shot to the ribs and a flying strike from the top. Fans rally for Kofi now as he crawls for a tag, as does Jimmy. Reigns and Big E tag in as fans pop big time.
The two champs meet in the middle of the ring ans face off. Reigns rocks Big E first. They trade big strikes in the middle of the ring. Big E ducks a right and hits a big belly-to-belly suplex, and another. Big E with a third big belly-to-belly. He stands up and plays to the crowd as they cheer him on. Big E clotheslines Jey off the apron but turns around to a big Uranage from Reigns. Big E kicks out and Reigns shows some frustration.
Reigns gets big heel heat as he calls for the Superman Punch. Big E meets him in mid-air with another big slam. Big E runs the ropes and delivers the splash in the middle of the ring. Big E gets the crowd hyped up now. Reigns blocks the Big Ending. Jimmy runs in but Big E sends him to the floor. Woods tags in . Kofi comes in and Big E launches him out to the floor to take The Usos out. Reigns with a Superman Punch to send Big E to the floor. Reigns goes for Woods but Woods fights back. Reigns with an uppercut. Woods with a superkick for a close 2 count.
Bobby Lashley runs down the ramp by himself and drops Big E at ringside with a Spear as fans boo loudly. Lashley scoops Kofi and rams him into the ring post. Lashley takes out The Usos next, sending them into the apron and the steel ring steps. Woods and Reigns slowly get up in the ring. Woods is distracted by Lashley. He turns around to a big Spear by Reigns for the pin to win.
Winners: The Bloodline
After the match, Reigns slowly recovers and stands tall as the music hits. Lashley hits the ring and drops Reigns with a Spear for a big pop. Lashley goes back to ringside and puts Big E through the barrier with another big Spear. Lashley stands tall as his music hits. He poses and yells out at ringside, leaving The Bloodline and The New Day all laid out. We go to commercial.
Backstage:
Bobby Lashley walks in the back and he goes into Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce’s office. Lashley says he is not done with Big E yet. Big E comes out and cashes in when I was hurt. Look at my knee. Bobby says this show is about the real champion. If you give him a match against Big E, I beat him. You put me in the ring against Roman Reigns and I win. Adam and Sonya are at a loss for words.
Randy Orton is in his locker room with his headphones on to avoid listening to Riddle. Riddle says he has matching headphones so they can listen to Spotify together. Riddle says it is time for a motivational speech for tonight. He says he knows Randy is hurt after what happened last week. Skipper doesn’t stand a chance against you. Riddle asks what would be his spirit animal. Maybe he is a mongoose. Randy asks Riddle if he is confusing real life with movies. Randy tells Riddle to keep Omos occupied by telling him your family safari stories. While you do that, I will try to break some of AJ’s ribs. Randy says he likes the headphones. Riddle jams out to Orton’s theme song to end the segment.
— Eva Marie makes her way to the ring while we see recent history between her and Doudrop. Back to commercial.
Eva Marie vs. Doudrop
Before the match starts, Eva takes the mic and she says she is not about shaming or body negativity, but look at me, look at me again, and then look at you. I’m put together and you’re a mess. Girls like you can never beat women like me.
The bell rings and Eva goes to the floor. Eva continues to run away from Doudrop. Eva returns to the apron and Doudrop grabs her as Eva re-enters the ring. Eva with a rake of the eyes and Eva with forearms. Eva goes for a cross body and Doudrop catches her and Doudrop with a slam and back senton. Doudrop with a cross body for the three count.
Winner: Doudrop
— Adam and Sonya are on their phones and Big E says he wants Bobby and Roman tonight. He tells them to make it happen before he leaves the office.
— We go back to the ring and out come the RAW Tag Team Champions – Randy Orton with Riddle. They hit the ring and pose as pyro goes off. Orton hits the turnbuckles to pose more as RAW goes to commercial.
Backstage:
We are back and Sonya and Adam are on phone calls while Paul Heyman enters. Paul wants to make sure he has things correct. He brings up how Bobby Lashley and Big E came in and bitched and moaned and kvetched. Paul says he has a message from the Tribal Chief. Sonya says there will be a triple threat match tonight. Adam tells Paul that it is official.
They lock up and Orton with a side head lock and Styles with a rollup for a near fall. Styles escapes. Styles with a wrist lock. Orton with a reversal. Orton works on the wrist and he applies a hammer lock. Styles gets to the ropes and Orton gives a clean break. Styles wit a kick and chops. Styles with an Irish whip and Orton avoids a clothesline into the corner and Styles escapes an RKO attempt. Orton with a kick and suplex for a near fall. Orton with the Garvin Stomp and Orton poses.
Orton runs his boot across the eyes. Orton with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall. Omos grabs Orton and Orton tells the referee and Omos is sent to the back. Riddle taunts Omos and Omos with an uppercut and Riddle is down.
Styles hits Orton from behind and Randy goes to the floor in front of Omos. AJ with a slingshot forearm to Orton.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Orton with punches and kicks but Styles with a clip to Orton followed by a knee drop to the leg. Orton misses a clothesline and Styles runs into the turnbuckles and goes down. Orton with two clotheslines and then he hits a clothesline in the corner. Orton with punches to Styles on the turnbuckles but Orton is dropped on the turnbuckles. Orton with punches and European uppercuts. Styles with a kick to the injured leg but Orton with a power slam for a near fall.
Orton puts Styles on the turnbuckles and Orton sets for a superplex but AJ gets to the apron and Orton with a clothesline. Orton sets for the IEDDT but AJ pulls Orton’s throat into the ropes. Orton stops AJ on a Phenomenal Forearm but AJ with a sleeper. Orton backs AJ into the turnbuckles to get out of the hold. Orton runs into a boot in the corner. AJ with a Tornado DDT but Orton blocks it and Orton with an exploder. Orton gets a near fall. Orton blocks punches but AJ with a Pele Kick for a near fall.
AJ sets for a Styles Clash but Orton blocks it. Styles goes for a sunset flip but Orton drops down and gets a near fall. Styles with a flying forearm. Styles with a moonsault for a near fall. Styles goes to the apron and he sets for the Phenomenal Forearm but he decides to try to kick Riddle. Orton sets for an RKO as AJ sets for the Phenomenal Forearm but AJ fakes him out. AJ slips on the ropes and Orton with an IEDDT and RKO for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
— We take a look at the issues between Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
— Nia Jax makes her way to the ring as we go back to commercial.
Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler
Nia tells Shayna she made her and Shayna is nothing without her. Shayna yells back and they push each other. Nia gets Shayna up on her shoulders and Shayna gets to her feet. She says to Shayna how easy that was and she is the winner. Shayna with kicks and Nia with a shoulder breaker for a near fall. Nia with a splash in the corner and he pushes Shayna. Shayna punches back and Nia with shoulders in the corner. Shayna with knes to Nia followed by a round kick and a knee and another round kick. Nia goes down and Shayna with a knee to the head. Shayna with a Kirifuda Clutch and Shayna gets on Nia’s back. Shayna with more kicks and she tries to go back to the Kirifuda Clutch and she locks it in and Nia falls to the mat.
Nia passes out and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Shayna Baszler
After the match, Shayna kicks Nia to the floor and then kicks Nia a few more times. Shayna moves the ring steps. Shayna puts Nia’s hand in the hole in the ring steps and Shayna with a boot to the elbow while the referee tells Shayna not to do it. Shayna stands on the hand and she thinks about stomping on the arm whiel Nia begs for mercy. Mercy be damned, Shayna stomps on the arm and Nia makes gingerly placed screams!

Mansoor and Mustafa Ali vs. Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza
Humberto Carrillo says they are teaming up because no team is stronger than family. Angel says you are looking at two of the most handsome and charismatic superstars.
Ali and Garza start things off and Garza with a drop kick and the pants are off and he throws them at Ali. Carrillo tags in and they hit a slingshot double face buster for a near fall. Carrillo with a chop and snap mare. Carrillo with a rear chin lock. Carrillo sends Ali face first into the mat and follows with a forearm to the back. Carrillo goes for a suplex and Ali lands on his feet. Ali with a tornado DDT to Carrillo. Mansoor and Garza tag in and Mansoor with a clothesline and round kick. Mansoor with a clothesline into the corner and Ali tags in and Ali with a double stomp while Mansoor hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Mansoor is sent into the ringside barrier but Ali does the same to Carillo. Garza sends Ali into the ring post.
Carrillo tags in and Carrillo with a Muta Lock and Garza with a drop kick. Carrillo gets the three count.
Winners: Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza
— In a short clip, Karrion Kross says step by step he is going to pulverize everyone around him to fall and pray.
— We go to the stage and out comes Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. Nikki says they’d like to talk about Connor’s Cure before their title match. Ripley gets emotional in the middle of her promo but they talk about Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and dedicate tonight’s match to the kids, to everyone who’s been affected by pediatric cancer, and to everyone who’s supported Connor’s Cure. We go to commercial.
Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley versus Natalya and Tamina for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championshp
Nikki and Tamina start things off and Nikki with kicks. Natalya with a tag and they hit a Hart Attack for a near fall. Tamina with a head butt to Rhea and Rhea is sent over the top rope to the floor. Natalya with a kick and punches in the corner. Tamina tags in and kicks Nikki. Natalya tags in and Natalya with a punch. Tamina tags in and Tamina with a Samoan drop to Nikki. Tamina goes up top and misses a Superfly Splash. Rhea is down on the floor and Nikki is almost a tag. Natalya tags in and hits a slingshot atomic drop and Natalya runs over Nikki and hits a drop kick. Rhea kicks Tamina away and hits a cannonball onto Tamina. Rhea with Riptide on the apron and Natalya is distracted and Nikki with a small package for the three count.

— We take a look at what happened last week with Charlotte and Alexa Bliss. Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Alexa welcomes everyone and she brings out her guest and opponent at Extreme Rules, Charlotte Flair.
Alexa tells Charlotte to take a seat but Charlotte says she will stand to make people remember you were a competitor. She tells Alexa to do her hocus pocus.
Alexa says she has no tricks up her sleeve. Why is there an ulterior motive? She wants to have some fun on Girl’s Night. Alexa asks where is Charley, but Alexa says that is fine because she did.
Charlotte says she doesn’t want Charley. She wants the old Alexa Bliss back. She wants the five feet of fury. You can fool everyone here and at home, but you cannot fool me. This is a pathetic attempt to show how fragile and delicate you are. You and I know you are broken. That is why you are hiding behind all of this. You used to walk to the ring with a title in your arm and now you walk to the ring with a doll in your arms. How does it feel that a doll is more popular than you. You were champion because we were not on the same brand. I don’t like your mind games. How did I go from main eventing Wrestlemania 35 to playing with dolls on Raw.
I am the real deal. I have beaten an almost a superhero and a nightmare. Now I am going to beat up a grown ass woman who dresses up like a kid. This is a desperate cry for help. It will be my job to beat some sense into you. Do you want me to do that tonight, or do you want me to wait until Sunday at Extreme Rules?
Alexa says we get it. Do you not get sick and tired of hearing everythng about how great you are? You have won more titles than any other woman, but that means you have lost more titles than any other woman. Alexa says if we are going to get personal. Without a title, who is Charlotte Flair? Nobody knows because you don’t even know. If you don’t have a title, you don’t have anything. I don’t need to play mind games with you to expose your insecurities. They are stamped on your forehead. You are so worried about the title moving on without you. What would you say to them if you didn’t have a title?
The crowd wooos and Alexa says that isn’t even yours. Charlotte wants to know if we want to talk about originality.
Alexa says that Charley was a pity gift for Charotte. You deserve to be happy. I don’t care what you call me because I know who I am. I don’t need to grasp titles to stay relevant. You can call me crazy tonight, but at Extreme Rules, you can call me champ. Doesn’t that sound like fun.
Charlotte tells Alexa we won’t know who Charlotte Flair is without the title. Charlotte tosses a mic at Alexa and then Alexa goes after Charlotte. Charlotte with a boot to Alexa and then she throws Alexa off her back. Charlotte takes Charley and rips her head off.
Charlotte goes after Lilly and Alexa stops her. Alexa with a DDT.
— Drake Maverick is with the back to explain his plan to get the 24/7 Title. He want to use a big net to trap Reggie. Reggie walks in the back and Drew Gulak says he wants to talk to Reggie. The plan fails miserably as Reggie flips out of the way.
— Jeff Hardy is out for his match against Sheamus. If Hardy wins, he is part of the US Title Match at Extreme Rules. Back to commercial.
Jeff Hardy vs. Sheamus
They lock up and Sheamus sends Hardy to the mat on the break. Sheamus with a side head lock take down and Hardy with a head scissors and Sheamus escapes. Hardy with another head scissors. Sheamus with a shoulder tackle. Sheamus with an uppercut but Hardy with a drop kick to the knees and another drop kick. Hardy with shoulders in the corner. Hardy with a side head lock. Sheamus with a punch on the break. Hardy sends Sheamus to the apron and Sheamus sets for the forearms across the chest but Hardy with elbows and he drops Sheamus on the top rope. Hardy comes off the steps but Sheamus catches Hardy and drops Hardy on the apron. Sheamus takes off the mask and he clotheslines Hardy.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sheamus goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Hardy lands on his feet and Sheamus goes into the ring post shoulder first. Hardy with punches followed by a running forearm. Hardy with a double leg take down and a leg drop and drop kick. Hardy escapes a slam attempt and hits a side Russian leg sweep. Hardy goes to the turnbuckles and hits a splash for a near fall. Sheamus avoids a Twist of Fate and Hardy sends Sheamus into the turnbuckles. Hardy goes for a hesitation kick but Sheamus kicks Hardy away. Sheamus goes up top and he hits clothesline for a near fall.
Sheamus gets Hardy up but Hardy with elbows and he gets back to his feet. Sheamus avoids a Twist of Fate and Sheamus with a jumping knee for a near fall. Sheamus goes for a Cloverleaf but Hardy kicks Sheamus away. Hardy avoids a Brogue Kick and Hardy with a Twist of Fate and then Hardy goes up top for a Swanton and Sheamus gets his knees up. Sheamus goes for an Air Raid Crash but Hardy with a sunset flip for the three count.
Winner: Jeff Hardy
After the match, it’s confirmed that Hardy vs. Sheamus vs. Priest will happen at Extreme Rules. Hardy celebrates as the music hits. Sheamus goes over and yells at Priest, blaming him for everything. Sheamus strikes first but Priest fights back and a big brawl breaks out at ringside. Security and officials break them up but Priest leaps and takes Sheamus back down. The fight spills back into the ring now. Priest clotheslines Sheamus over the top rope to the floor and they both land hard to end the segment.
We go to commercial.
Bobby Lashley vs. Big E vs. Roman Reigns
We go back to the ring for tonight’s main event as WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is out first with Paul Heyman. Reigns marches right to the ring and he’s ready to fight. Out next comes Bobby Lashley, who also gets pyro and looks ready to fight. WWE Champion Big E is out next for a pop.
Big E rushes the ring and the bell immediately rings as he brawls with Lashley. Lashley rocks Big E but Big E drops him as Reigns watches. Reigns comes over but Big E knocks him and goes back to work on Lashley. Big E hits the big running splash on the apron while taunting Lashley. Reigns runs over and takes Big E out with a big Drive By as fans boo. Reigns returns to the ring and stands tall with his fist in the air as the boos get louder. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Lashley has Reigns down on the outside. He goes to work on Big E in the corner in the ring. Big E turns it around and drops Lashley with an elbow for a 2 count. Big E talks some trash while controlling Lashley. Big E with the abdominal stretch, taking shots at Lashley’s ribs. Reigns runs in and breaks the hold with a big shot. Reigns clotheslines Lashley over the top rope to the floor, then focuses on Big E. Reigns with a big leaping clothesline for a close 2 count.
Reigns rolls to the floor and tries for a Drive By on Lashley but Lashley decks him in mid-air. Lashley rolls Reigns back in the ring for a 2 count. Lashley takes Reigns to the corner and beats him down. Lashley charges at Big E in the opposite corner with a shoulder thrust. He runs back across the ring and hits Reigns with another shoulder. Lashley charges at Big E again but Big E catches him with the Uranage for a close 2 count.
Big E with a running thrust to Reigns in the corner now. Big E charges again but Reigns catches him with a Samoan Drop for a 2 count in the middle of the ring. Reigns looks a bit frustrated now. Big E rolls to the floor to regroup. Reigns unloads with big clotheslines to Lashley in the corner as fans count along. Lashley is dazed. Reigns takes Lashley to the top for a superplex but Lashley fights back and sends him to the mat. Reigns comes right back with a big right hand, stunning Lashley on the top.
Reigns climbs up for the superplex but Lashley resists. Big E runs over and sends them both to the mat with the powerbomb superplex combo as fans go wild. We go to commercial with Big E looking on at his opponents.
Back from the break and Reigns has Big E down in the corner. Reigns talks some trash and fans boo him. Big E ends up tossing Reigns with two big belly-to-belly throws. Big E ducks Reigns and nails another big suplex as fans cheer him on. Big E runs the ropes for a splash to Reigns but Lashley grabs him from the floor, bringing him out and launching him into the barrier.
Lashley returns to the ring fired up. He blocks Reigns and drops him on his face. Lashley plays to the crowd about how this is still his house. Lashley lifts Reigns for a suplex, holding him in the air and dropping him. Reigns kicks out at 2 in the middle of the ring. Big E comes in and tangles with Lashley. Big E with a belly-to-belly suplex. Reigns comes over but Big E drops him next to Lashley. Big E runs the ring and delivers a big splash to Lashley and Reigns at the same time. He covers Lashley for a 2 count.
More back and forth now. Lashley ends up dropping Big E with a Spinebuster but Reigns breaks the pin and tosses Lashley to the floor. Reigns tries to steal the pin but Big E kicks out just in time. Reigns stands tall as Heyman looks on with fans booing. Reigns calls for the Superman Punch now. Big E dodges it and scoops Reigns for the Big Ending, nailing it in the middle of the ring. Lashley pulls Big E to the floor to break the pin. Lashley sends Big E into the barrier, then brings him over to the announce table. Lashley chokeslams Big E through the announce table, leaving him laid out in the debris. Lashley gets fired up at ringside as fans go wild with some boos and cheers.
Lashley returns to the ring and waits for Reigns to get up. Lashley goes for the Spear but Reigns meets him with a Superman Punch. Reigns covers for 2 but Lashley kicks out and Reigns can’t believe it. Fans chant “this is awesome!” now. Reigns and Lashley are laid out in the middle of the ring, Big E still down in the table debris at ringside. Reigns gets up first to boos. Reigns calls for the Spear but Lashley meets him with a Spear of his own. Lashley covers for 2 but Big E leaps in to break the pin up just in time.
Lashley grabs Big E for The Hurt Lock now. Big E resists as Lashley tries to lock his hands in. Reigns breaks it up with a Superman Punch, dropping Lashley. Reigns charges but Big E sends him to the apron. Big E runs and sends Reigns off the apron to the floor with a big Spear. Big E brings Reigns back into the ring and hits a Big Ending to Reigns in the middle of the ring. Big E covers for the pin but Lashley breaks it up with a steel chair, which is legal in a Triple Threat. Lashley with several big chair shots to Big E’s back.
Lashley keeps Big E down with more chair shots as fans boo. Reigns comes back in out of nowhere and delivers a Spear to put Lashley down. Reigns covers for the pin to win.
Winner: Roman Reigns
After the match, Reigns’ music hits as we go to replays. Reigns gets up first as Lashley rolls out of the ring. Big E is flat on his back in the middle of the ring. Reigns raises the WWE Universal Title in the air as the boos continue and the final RAW before Extreme Rules goes off the air.
