WWE is slated to bring back the King of the Ring tournament and they also have reported plans to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament as well next month.
PWInsider reported today that FOX will be airing a King of the Ring special from October 1st through October 3rd at different timeslots depending on local markets.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast first reported the tournaments will start October 8th on SmackDown and continue on the October 11th episode of Raw.
The finals of the tournaments will take place at the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia on October 21st.
The only match announced thus far for the Crown Jewel PPV event is Universal Champion Roman Reigns taking on Brock Lesnar.
