Two Matches Announced For Tonight’s WWE SmackDown

More matches have been announced for tonight’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown episode.

SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos will face off with The Street Profits in a non-title match and Seth Rollins vs. Cesaro in a singles bout will also take place.

The show from Jacksonville, FL at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena will be headlined by Roman Reigns defending his Universal Championship against Finn Balor.

Just last week, The Street Profits made the save for Balor, who was in a brawl with Reigns and The Usos. Eventually, Balor and The Street Profits took out The Usos as Reigns got away to close the show.

Regarding Rollins and Cesaro, the former WWE Champion has scored two recent wins over Cesaro. Earlier this year, Cesaro had defeated Rollins twice. Rollins lost to WWE Hall of Famer Edge at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event last month.

Smackdown will also features the scheduled Finn Balor vs. WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns with the title on the line. It’s interesting to note that the WWE website has Sasha Banks advertised for tonight’s show. She has been away from the ring since missing the WWE live events the week before SummerSlam. It wast reported at one point that she was not expected back this week, but was hopeful for next week’s Super SmackDown taping from Madison Square Garden.
