NXT is lining up a title match and a fan favorite segment for the upcoming 9/29 episode. On tonight’s episode, it was revealed in a backstage showdown between Franky Monet and Raquel Gonzalez that Monet will make her “premiere” in title action against the NXT Women’s Champion in seven days time.
Also announced was the follow-up to Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis tying the knot as the happy couple will be celebrating their honeymoon next week. The InDex wedding closed out the first episode of NXT 2.0 even ahead of the NXT Title match that had Tommaso Ciampa winning back the belt he never lost.
A second title match was added as well as we have Io Shirai and Zoey Stark defending their Women’s Tag Titles against Toxic Attraction after Mandy Rose called the champs out.
It was then revealed during the main event match that B-FAB will face Elektra Lopez in a No DQ match after the two women brawled it out in the ring during a segment on this week’s episode. These four announcements for join the Cruiserweight Title match made that has the new champ in Roderick Strong facing Grayson Waller.
