WWE is less than a week away from its Extreme Rules PPV, but the company has yet to announce any stipulation matches.
WWE has already confirmed Damian Priest defending the United States Title against Sheamus at this show although there could be a change as Sheamus will battle Jeff Hardy on tonight’s Raw with the stipulation that if Hardy wins then he’ll be added to the match and make it a triple threat bout.
PWInsider reported today that there was a pitch last week to make it a tables match between Sheamus and Priest.
WWE holds the Extreme Rules pay-per-view event on Sunday, September 26, 2021 in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena, which will air on Peacock.
Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor (The Demon), SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair, Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Alexa Bliss, and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos vs. The Street Profits are the top matches announced thus far.
