According to local ads running in Baltimore, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will take on Drew McIntyre on the 10/1 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
10/1 is the first night of the WWE Draft so there will be wrestlers from Raw appearing and the match is likely to happen but there is no guarantee that the match will air on TV. As always, the card is subject to change. The second night of the WWE Draft will take place on 10/4 on Raw on the USA Network.
McIntyre’s booking in recent weeks has fueled speculation that he is moving to SmackDown. After Reigns wrestles Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel in October, Reigns will need fresh opponents so moving McIntyre makes sense.
According to some sources, Reigns is probably going to stay on SmackDown.
