Bobby Lashley Teases Moving To Smackdown

Bobby Lashley Teases Moving To Smackdown – It’s looking more likely that Lashley could be moving brands when this year’s WWE Draft takes place. It all starts this Friday on SmackDown and continues on next Monday’s episode of Raw.

Lashley dropped the WWE Title to Big E after the New Day member cashed in his Money in the Bank contract earlier this month. They did a six-man tag team match between Lashley, AJ Styles & Omos against The New Day at Sunday’s Extreme Rules PPV event in which The New Day went over.

Fast forward to this week’s Raw, Big E beat Lashley to retain the WWE Title inside of a steel cage. Historically, Vince McMahon likes for stars to do jobs in the last weeks before a Draft to get certain stars over and then moving the wrestler who has been losing to another brand.

Lashley further hinted at moving from Raw to SmackDown with this post on Twitter:

Although Lashley is likely moving brands, it will not impact WWE’s plans for a big feud. It should be noted there have been no reports confirming Lashley is going to SmackDown. It’s also unclear whether Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander will follow him to SmackDown as WWE just reunited The Hurt Business this past Monday night.
