Former WWE star Al Snow was part of a heroic moment when he saved a child’s life on Thursday.
It happened at Santa Rosa Beach in Destin, Florida. Snow told the story to TMZ by recalling that he heard yelling and screaming while he was in the water. The young boy was being hit by waves while being pulled away by a strong current.
While there was a lifeguard on the beach, Snow didn’t think the person could make it in time so he decided it was upon him to take action.
“I made it, thank God,” Snow said. “And, I caught him just by the arm just as a wave started to pull him even further out. If I hadn’t have grabbed him, I think he’d have probably went out to sea. That would have been it.”
Snow stated that the rescue could’ve gone wrong as a wave took them back under, which made him think of the tragic situation involving fellow former WWE star Shad Gaspard, who lost his life to save the life of his son in May 2020.
Fortunately, Snow was able to stay up and he handed the child to the lifeguard. He said he felt exhausted once getting back to the beach.
