The news has spread to mainstream outlets that CM Punk is likely to make his return to pro wrestling this Friday night.
During the NFL Network’s recap of the Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins game, Adam Rank described Justin Fields debut as the most-anticipated debut in Chicago until this Friday when CM Punk shows up on AEW.
Last night on AEW Rampage, they aired the Darby Allin promo where he talks about wanting to face the “Best in the World” and fans are taking that as a clear sign that Punk is going to debut this Friday at the United Center.
Presumably, since All Out is just three weeks away, we’ll also find out soon what Punk will be doing at the pay-per-view.
