Brock Lesnar attacked John Cena after WWE SummerSlam went off the air.
As seen in clip below, Lesnar took Cena to suplex city, and then he finished him with the F5. Lesnar then laughed a bit and looked down at Cena before making his exit. He marched to the entrance way and looked back at the ring one more time before heading to the back. Cena is headed back to film a movie soon so presumably, this was done just to send the fans home happy but it could be a setup for a future match, perhaps a match at WrestleMania.
As noted earlier, Lesnar returned at the end of SummerSlam to confront Roman Reigns shortly after Reigns retained his Universal Championship against John Cena.
Earlier in the show, Becky Lynch returned to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair and Bobby Lashley retained over Goldberg but he attacked Gage Goldberg, which means that the feud is not over.
