Daniel Bryan Pulled From WWE 2K22

Daniel Bryan Pulled From WWE 2K22 – All signs are pointing to Bryan Danielson (former WWE star Daniel Bryan) debuting for AEW sometime within the next couple of months.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that Bryan and AEW have been talking for months and he also considered going back to WWE but being able to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling is a big X-factor for him and that wouldn’t have been possible if he went back to WWE. This explains why Nick Khan tried to get a working relationship with NJPW.

Another thing that points to Danielson signing with AEW is that WWE sent out a memo to let the video game makers know that he should not be included in the game so he will not be featured in WWE 2K22.

Meltzer also stated in the Observer that he believes that CM Punk has signed his deal with AEW because there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that would indicate that.

AEW, Punk, and Danielson have not commented on any of this and it’s not expected that they will until they debut or until it’s decided to tease their debut. Punk did post a teaser on his Instagram page on Thursday. In the past, whenever a rumor would pop up about Punk going back to WWE or signing with AEW he would shoot it down but he’s not denying anything this time
