Carmella is back in the title hunt as she was gifted a SmackDown Women’s Title Match against current champion Bianca Belair on next week’s episode of SmackDown on FOX from Houston, Texas at the Toyota Center.
The reason for this is due to Bayley being on the shelf for nine months after suffering an injury while training at the Performance Center. Originally, Bayley vs. Belair was supposed to take place at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view event.
After having an exchange with Liv Morgan on Twitter, a fan responded to a tweet by noting that women like Carmella are putting WWE back in the Divas age.
Carmella fired back by writing, “HAHAHA! That’s where you’re wrong, sweetie. I have the looks AND the talent. I’m the total package. I don’t get why people like you & the rest of the WWE Universe makes it seem like we can only fit into one box. I love looking good & I can go in the ring. It’s ok to do both.”
