WWE Hell in a Cell Results - June 20, 2021

2021 WWE Hell in a Cell Results – Your host for the Kickoff Show is Kayla Braxton and she is joined by Jerry Lawler, John Layfield, Peter Rosenberg and Sonya Deville.

Kayla asks what she is looking forward to the most on the pay per view. Jerry says that someone is going to get a vicious, savage beating at Hell in a Cell.  John says he is looking forward to the WWE Championship Match.

— We take a look at the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match with a video package.

Sonya is asked about what will happen.  Sonya says Bianca is a talented athlete and competitor.  Bayley is trying to play the same old game and Bianca played back.  The evil Bayley is back.  We know what that Bayley is capable of.  She will bring her A Game tonight but Bianca is a star in the making. Peter says that Bayley is a lot more serious.

Kayla mentions that Bianca has been on a roll, but Bianca is the one who wanted the Hell in a Cell match, not Bayley.  Is Bianca too overzealous and looking for too much too fast. Jerry says that she might be a little overconfident.  She has no idea of what will happen.  John mentions how Shawn Michaels and Roddy Piper played mind games and so is Bayley.  Sonya respect that Bianca called out Bayley.

— We take a look at Alexa Bliss and Shayna Baszler with a video package.

Kayla asks Sonya about Shayna being so frazzled and wants to know what is going on.  Sonya says nothing is quite as daunting as Alexa Bliss right now.  If there is anybody who can handle it, it is Shayna Baszler.  Shayna is a cagefighter and unpredictability is her strength.  Being able to be on the tip of your toes and be ready for anything from your opponent, that is her advantage.  Peter says if there is one person who has a chance against Alexa, it is someone with a fighting background.  Lawler says that Alexa has gotten into Shayna’s head.  JBL says that Shayna is blaming Alexa for all of the things going wrong with her and Shayna will not overcome that tonight.

— We move on to the Raw Women’s Championship match.

Kayla mentions having Charlotte Flair on The Bump and she talks about how Charlotte sees herself in Rhea Ripley. Sonya says that Charlotte is one of the most dominant champions.  She knows what she is doing.  She is confident in everything she does.  Sonya says she sees the same in Rhea.  Rhea is equally confident and it is experience that will determine the winner.  Peter says that you have to deal with someone like Charlotte in order to prove yourself as champion.  Is Rhea the favorite as the champion?  John says Charlotte is not living off her name, but will this be the time that Rhea has her coming out party as a champion.  Kayla reminds everyone about last Wrestlemania when Charlotte beat Rhea.  Jerry says everyone thinks they are going to win when they step into the ring.  You don’t earn the title of the Queen for nothing.

— We are back after a commercial with a brief look at the Universal Championship Match from Smackdown. We then move on to the match between Cesaro and Seth Rollins with a LONG video package.

Kayla asks who is playing the better head games.  Jerry says embarrassing someone by ripping their pants off or pushing them over in a chair is one thing, but to beat them in the ring is different.  He sees the look on Seth’s face and he cannot go against Seth.  Peter asks who has more pressure in this match.  John says you need to prove that you still have it when you are no longer champion.  Cesaro has not made it yet.  They have unlimited potential and enjoy this match.

Kayla asks for picks.  Peter picks Seth Rollins.  John is going with Cesaro and he says Cesaro will be a world champion in a few years.  Jerry picks Seth Rollins.
