Nikki Cross Talks Her New Gimmick

As noted, Nikki Cross debuted new gear and superhero gimmick during this week’s RAW episode (click here for photos). Nikki was a guest on RAW Talk and says her new gimmick is something she couldn’t wait to share with everyone and her new outlook has her feeling like she can do anything.

Nikki, who won a spot in the Money In The Bank match along with Alexa Bliss, said getting back on the same page with Alexa was good because they were successful in their mission to qualify for the ladder match. She says they’ve both been through so much, but the goal was to win, although from now on it’s every woman for themselves and she’s going to be “Nikki In The Bank.”

In regards to her new look, Cross said she’s happy they brought it up because it’s something she couldn’t wait to share with everyone.

“For me, I know I don’t have superpowers, OK? I know I can’t fly, I don’t have super strength, but the thing is when I throw on this cape and I throw on this mask and these wrist gauntlets, this armband, this outfit, I feel like I can try anything,” Cross said. “I might fail and I might fall down, but here’s the thing—I’m going to keep trying and I’m going to keep getting back up because I have to believe in myself.

“All anyone can ever do is believe in themselves, and that’s just what I want to share with our audience. I just want to share this with them. So the last few weeks I’ve been working on this and tonight we got to share it,” she exclaimed. “I’m so excited.”
