There is already some extra buzz surrounding tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown and it looks like WWE could be giving fans something else to talk about in addition to tonight’s main event.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross and Scarlett are both backstage at the ThunderDome.
That does not guarantee that they will be appearing on the show but it is worth noting that there’s been talk within the last week about having Kross move up to the main roster.
Kross retained his NXT championship at TakeOver: In Your House on Sunday night and WWE is teasing a future Kross vs. Samoa Joe match. If Kross is moving up to the main roster then that pretty much guarantees that he will be dropping the title at some point in the near future.
Obviously, given his size and look, Kross would be someone that Vince McMahon would push as a top star so stay tuned to see if he makes the move tonight.
