WWE Stops Humberto Carrillo Push – WWE has apparently pushed pause on Humberto Carrillo as he was not featured this week on Monday Night Raw.
It seemed like he was going to be in a long-term feud with Sheamus but they have shifted to Ricochet vs. Sheamus for the foreseeable future. PWInsider noted that the reason why Carrillo was not on the show was simply that Vince McMahon decided to focus on Ricochet for now.
PWInsider reports, “For those who asked why there was no update on Humberto Carrillo, the decision was made to focus on the Ricochet stuff. Much like Mansoor being forgotten a week after he debuted, the decision was made to focus on something else.”
It is worth noting that Carrillo was hurt last week during his match with Sheamus. Carrillo landed hard on the floor and had trouble getting up. The match was stopped and Sheamus was announced as the winner since the plan was for him to get the win.
There has been no further update given on Carrillo since last week but it looks like, at least for the time being, he will not be involved with Sheamus.
