The “Uso Penitentiary” is back in business, as Jimmy and Jey Uso will team up for the first time in over a year next week on WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Despite the brothers’ complicated relationship with Roman Reigns, The Usos will face The Street Profits in a battle of former tag team champions on May 28.
The Usos haven’t teamed up since March 2020, as a severe knee injury had sidelined since WWE WrestleMania 36. Now that he’s back, he’s hoping to reestablish The Usos as the best team in WWE, but Reigns might have something to say about that. He didn’t clearly disapproved when Jey informed him about this upcoming match, and his reaction hinted at even more tension in the family.
On tonight’s Smackdown, Shanya Baszler defeated Natalya with her dreaded Kirifuda Clutch submission hold. That secured another Women’s Tag Team Title match for Nia Jax and the Queen of Spades.
WWE later announced that Natalya and Tamina will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against the former champions next week on Raw. We will have to see if Nattie and Tamina’s time as champions will last any substantial amount of time following last week’s big win.
