Okada Tested Positive To COVID-19

Kazuchika Okada Suggests Supershow With WWE And Other Promotions To Give Back To Fans

NJPW star Kazuchika Okada was one of the nine NJPW stars that had tested positive for COVID-19, according to Tokyo Sports,

NJPW revealed on May 4 that two wrestlers had tested positive for COVID-19, and Okada, Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado, Yoshinobu Kanemaru, SHO & YOH were all pulled from the second night of Wrestling Dontaku due to being in contact with the two other wrestlers.

Later PCR testing was conducted across the entire roster and seven more wrestlers tested positive.

According to the report, Okada tested negative several times. After he ended up with a fever, he tested positive. He noted that he tried to train at home, but didn’t have the energy. He also had lost his sense of taste, but it has since returned.

The Rainmaker revealed though that he is feeling a lot better now.

It’s not clear when he will return to the ring.
