Moose Re-Signs With IMPACT – As noted erlier, Moose fueled rumors & speculation on a possible run with NXT when he tweeted: “I love when you all argue about what my NeXT move is !!”. Unfortunately for NXT fans, Dave Meltzer is now reporting that Moose has signed a new contract with Impact Wrestling.
However, later tonight Moose personally responded to the Wrestling Observer’s tweet about his reported new contract. “Not true,” he wrote. In a second tweet, Moose asked people to get news about his career directly from him.
The 37-year-old recently said that he wanted to win the World Title before his contract expired in June. It looks like he will have more time to achieve his goal because there are no plans for him to go elsewhere in the immediate future. There is no word on the number of years on his new deal.
Moose is a 2-time former Impact Grand Champion and he won the resurrected TNA World Championship before losing it to Rich Swann in a title vs. title match this year.
Moose will challenge AEW and Impact World Champion Kenny Omega at the Against All Odds show next month on Impact Plus.
