Aleister Black decided to have some fun at the expense of Big E on social media.
For the past few weeks on SmackDown, Black had been appearing in vignettes to hype his return. This past Friday, Black finally made it.
It happened after the main event where Apollo Crews defended the Intercontinental Title against Big E, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn in a fatal 4-way match. Black came out to hit Black Mass on Big E, which ended up costing Big E the contest.
The former NXT Champion took to Instagram to poke fun at Big E by sharing a photo of himself with the caption as The New Day’s catchphrase. He wrote, “It’s a New Day, yes it is!”
It’s pretty clear after this angle that WWE is building towards a match between Black and Big E. Thus, it’s not a matter if the match will happen, but when.
