MLW To VICE TV, First Event With Fans – MLW owner Court Bauer has officially confirmed when fans can expect to see MLW content start to appear on VICE TV, and it’s sooner than many may have thought.
Bauer appeared on The Wrestling Inc. Daily podcast, confirming that VICE TV will start airing the company’s content on May 1. “MLW’s presence will hit in May,” Bauer said. “We’re going to be putting that out, the exact date, very soon…you know what? F**k it; it’s May 1. That’s when you’re first going to see MLW. This isn’t like new footage, it’s just the library so you can see the 2020 stuff.”
MLW’s move to VICE TV is the company’s latest step in its efforts to expand to as many platforms as possible. With this development, fans can now count VICE TV as a stable home for MLW’s content.
Bauer also appeared on tonight’s episode of MLW Fusion and noted that they have more announcements and deals still being worked on and to stay tuned.
Bauer announced Lio Rush vs. Myron Reed for the MLW Middleweight Championship on the 5/5 edition of Fusion and stated that match would “close out this season” of MLW.
Bauer then announced that the promotion would return to live events on 7/10 in Philadelphia at the 2300 Arena for a “new season” with Tickets now on sale at www.MLW2300.com, promising a reconfigured roster and more. Advertised for the event are MLW Champion Jacob Fatu, Ross & Marshall Von Erich, CONTRA Unit, Tom Lawlor, MLW National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone, Richard Holliday, Calvin Tankman, Azteca Underground, Myron Reed and Gino Medina.
