Roman Reigns debuted a new entrance theme on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
As noted, Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan in a Career vs. Title match, which went longer than 30 minutes. Per the stipulation, Bryan is now banned from the blue brand.
The new theme has been in the works for many months but Reigns and WWE were waiting on the right time for him to ditch the old theme song. The whole idea behind the Reigns character is to portray him in the same light as iconic champions such as John Cena, Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and others. The updated look with no shirt and new theme are all part of the process.
