WWE RAW Results - March 1, 2021

WWE RAW Results – March 1, 2021 – This week’s WWE RAW episode opens with a look of what happened last week between The Miz, Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman.

We’re live from the ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida, as commentators welcome us to the show and we are told that Drew McIntyre will face Sheamus later tonight.

The former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring and he has something to say.

Drew says it has been a real bitch of a month for Drew McIntyre.  Let’s start with Sheamus, his former friend.  A twenty year friendship and he stabbed me in the back.  We are going to beat the hell out of each other and it will be a true war.  Two weeks ago, in the Elimination Chamber, I went into the Elimination Chamber with the odds against me, but I defended my title.  Then BOOM, Lashley attacked.  Then Miz successfully cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.  The Fricken Miz is your WWE Champion.

It’s all good.  I have a clear vision in my head and I have a simple mission.  Regain my WWE Championship and defend it at Wrestlemania.  I didn’t win the title at the Performance Center and defend it all over the place to make it important only to be stopped short of the finish line.  Miz and Lashley, you have the biggest targets on your back. Drew tells Sheamus we are going to beat the hell out of each other.

Miz interrupts and he comes out with John Morrison who is dressed like he’s goint to a wedding.

Miz says he admires how Drew is handling thing with dignity and class.  Morrison says just like a former champion should.  Miz says after I acquired the Money in the Bank contract, it was a matter of time before I got the title. Drew invites Miz into the ring for a big hug. Miz says he knows that he is not one of Drew’s favorite people.  Miz wants to know why would Miz be upset with him.  Why would you be upset with the contract holder cashing in the contract at the right time.  It is what they do.  You need to blame the one and only person whose fault it is and that is Bobby Lashley.

Drew says he won’t do Miz’ dirty work and he will have to deal with Lashley by himself.  If you are successful, then you are my problem.

Miz says he didn’t ask for or want help from Bobby Lashley.  Miz says he is the victim.  He is a husband and father to two girls.  Bobby Lashley threatened his well-being.  He had to make that deal because he had no choice.  Now he has a title match.  Why would someone like Bobby Lashley get the first opportunity at a WWE Championship and not someone more deserving like Drew McIntyre.  Miz suggests that they work together.  Morrison says they could be the Three MMigos.  Miz says they could do wonders for Drew’s career.

Bobby Lashley’s music plays and MVP make shsi way to the stage and he now has a cane.  Porter asks if this is the beginning of a new beautiful business relationship or the rambling of two men.  He asks Drew if he is thinking of this. Drew says he does not need anyone’s help to get back his championship. Porter says nothing is going to stop Bobby Lashley from getting in the ring and becoming the new champion.  Porter says that Miz’ match will start promptly at 9:00 PM.  In less than an hour, Bobby Lashley will absolutely destroy you.

Miz tells Drew that Bobby is a menace and they need to stop him but Sheamus’ music plays and he tells Miz he is wasting his breath.  Drew doesn’t care about anybody but himself.  After I am through with him tonight, Drew won’t be in any shape to do anything.

Drew and Sheamus fight in the aisle and officials separate both men, but do a poor job of doing that.  Drew clotheslines Sheamus over the ringside barrier.
