WWE 205 Live Results – March 5, 2021

We are at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and your announcers are Nigel McGuinness and Vic Joseph.

August Grey and Jake Atlas versus Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese

Grey and Daivari start things off and Daivari wtih a waist lock take down and he walks on Grey but Daivari gets into the ropes to stop Grey.  Nese tags in and Daivari distracts Grey and Nese with a front face lock and Grey with a hammer lock.  Grey with an arm bar and wrist lock but Nese with a punch.  Daivari tags in and punches Grey.  Daivari with kicks to Grey.  Nese tags back in and they go for a double suplex and Grey lands on his feet and Atlas tags in and hits a double clothesline.  Atlas with a straitjacket neck breaker to Daivari.  Atlas with a shoulder to Nese from the apron and he sends Daivari to the floor with a back body drop.  Nese is pushed off the turnbuckles and his knee ‘gives out’ and that allows Daivari to knock Atlas off the turnbuckles.  

Nese’s knee is perfectly fine and he kicks Atlas.  Daivari tags in and he punches Atlas.  Daivari with more punches and an Irish whip.  Atlas punches his way out of the corner but Daivari with a kick and running boot to the head.  Atlas with a clothesline and both men are down.  Nese tags in and he knocks Grey off the apron before Atlas can make the tag.  Nese with a back elbow and he gets a near fall.  Nese with a waist lock.  Atlas with elbows and punches.  Nese prevents the tag and Atlas with a sunset flip and Nese misses a kick after he rolls through.  Atlas kicks Nese away and Grey makes the tag.

Grey with a head scissors take down and a back elbow.  Grey with a reverse atomic drop and a clothesline.  Grey punches Daivari on the apron and hits a belly-to-back suplex that sends Nese face first to the mat.  Grey goes for the So Much Prettier on Daivari when he tries to interfere but Nese grabs Grey and hits a Cyclone Driver for a near fall.  Atlas sends Daivari to the floor and follows with a suicide dive.  Nese goes over the top rope and drops Grey’s arm on the rope and he lands on Atlas.  Nese with a double jump moonsault.

Nese with a jumping palm strike.  Grey with So Much Prettier for the three count.

Winners:  August Grey and Jake Atlas

We go to Josiah Williams with Mansoor and Curt Stallion earlier today.  They talk about their recent tag team victory.  They talk about team names.  Curt suggests Curtsoor and Mansoor likes Man Stallion.

Mansoor thanks Curt for helping him go 40-0.  Stallion points out none of those wins were against him.  Mansoor asks if that is a challenge.  Stallion says tonight it can be 40-1.  Mansoor says it will be 41-0.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at what Legado del Fantasma did to Breezango and Ever Rise.

We go to Sunil and Samir Singh.

Samr says that Ever Rise forgot that they were a team.  You go to NXT and you get jumped?  That serves you right.  Sunil says they had a truce.  They say you should have called them.

Mansoor versus Curt Stallion

Stallion offers his hand and Mansoor shakes it.  They lock up and Mansoor backs Stallion into the ropes and Mansoor with a clean break but he pats Stallion on the chest.  They lock up and Stallion with a side head lock take down.  Mansoor with a head scissors.  Stallion escapes and he applies a side head lock take down and Mansoor with a rollup for a near fall.  Mansoor with a front face lock take down.  Stallion with a front face lock but Mansoor drops to the mat and Mansoor escapes into a front face lock and hammer lock.  Stallion with a drop toe hold into a side head lock.    Mansoor with a side head lock take down.

Stallion with a waist lock into a German suplex for a near fall.  Stallion with a suplex and a knee drop for a near fall.  Mansoor with a clothesline for a near fall.  Mansoor gets another near fall.  Stallion and Mansoor exchagne chops and forearms.  Mansoor with an Irish whip and clothesline for a near fall.  Mansoor with an arm bar and chin lock.  Mansoor goes for a sunset flip but Stallion rolls through and hits a double stomp.  Stallion with an Air Raid Crash neck breaker and forearm into the corner.  Stallion with a knee to the head.  Stallion with a drop kick into the corner.  Stallion with a DDT into the turnbuckles for a near fall.

Stallion gets another near fall.  Mansoor with a double underhook into a power bomb for a near fall.  Stallion with a head butt and Mansoor falls to the floor.  Stallion sends Mansoor back into the ring and he goes up top for a frog splash but Mansoor gets his knees up.  Mansoor goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault but Stallion stops him and Stallion grabs the leg.  Stallion with a head butt.  Stallion with a reverse Spanish Fly for a near fall when Mansoor gets his foot on the rope.  

Stallion misses a shoulder and hits the turnbuckles.  Mansoor with the slingshot neck breaker for the three count.

Winner:  Mansoor
