— We go to commercial with Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole walking in the back with their security details.  Cole stops and stares down Shawn Michaels.

In the Arena:

We are back and William Regal is on the stage with Kyle O’Reilly, Adam Cole, and their security details.  Regal says the situation has gotten out of control and it got the bloody police involved.  I will not have you embarrass this company that so many people have fought hard to create.  What i have here is the solution to the situation.  This is a contract for Kyle O’Reilly to face Adam Cole in the co-main event of Night Two of Takeover.  This match can only take place when you sign the contract and that Kyle acknowledges that NXT is not responsible for what happens to him since Kyle is not medically cleared to wrestle.

Cole says he has a story for Regal.  He wants Regal to imagine that he was born blind but then one day you wake up and can see everything.  That is a revelation.  I realized that I didn’t need the Undisputed Era.  Kyle was the one who made me realize that.  I bought into the BS that the Undisputed Era was about brotherhood, but it was never about that.  I saw you challenge for the NXT Championship not once, but twice.  I saw you lose not once, but twice.  Then you befriended Finn Balor and you wanted him to join the Undisputed Era.  You are nothing more than a lapdog or sidekick. You are happy to be on the sidelines.  That is not me.  I am the greatest NXT Champion and I will never sit on the sidelines.

You lost sight of what the Undisputed Era was about. It was not a brotherhood, it was about being the best.  You should be thanking me.  Would you have made it to WWE or have been successful if it wasn’t for me?  Would the Undisputed Era have been successful without me?  The Undisputed Era without Adam Cole is nothing and you are nothing.  I cannot wait to fight you at Takeover.  I already know who wins. The entire world knows who will win.  The only one who doesn’t know is the pathetic lapdog sitting across the table.

Cole signs the contract and gives it to Kyle.

Kyle says we have known each other for a long time.  When we first got here, we didn’t care who we stood over.  Four hungry pitbulls looking to make it to the top.  We did not care at whose expense we made our statement.  You will always have heat with the General Manager and the entire locker room.  I grew up learning about being responsible for your actions.  No more sneak attacks.  No more BS.  Since coming here to this place, we have become better wrestlers, better fighters, champions.  We became stars.  Only one of us became a better person, a better human being.  Adam Cole is the same asshole that walked into this place three and a half years ago.

It is hard to believe that the last three and a half years meant nothing.  If you thought we could be cool again one day, I won’t do what it takes to put you down for good.  I sold my soul for the Undisputed Era and I want it back.  You are an insecure prick who used his best friends.  That is so cold and I am not surprised in the least.  Not one single person will be surprised after I beat you into a pulp and for the first time in damn near four years, I sleep like a baby.

O’Reilly signs the contract. Cole stands up now and taunts him, telling him to sign his death warrant. O’Reilly launches the contract at him. Cole lunges at him and O’Reilly does the same but security holds them back. Cole and O’Reilly continue to yell in each other’s face as security holds them back. Vic hypes their Takeover match as being a “No Rules, No Liability, Unsanctioned” match. Fans chant “NXT!” as the show goes off the air.
