NXT Results – March 17, 2021

NXT Results - March 17, 2021

NXT Results – March 17, 2021 – We are live at the Capitol Wrestling Centre and Finn Balor is in the ring.

Finn says St. Patrick’s Day 2021 and Finn Balor is still the NXT Champion. Kyle O’Reilly, beat him. Pete Dunne, beat him. Adam Cole, beat him. Now, only one man remains, Karrion Kross. I’ve been waiting for you and at Takeover, your time is up.

Karrion Kross’ music plays and he makes his way to the ring with Scarlett.

Kross says this entire situation was never going to happen until you and I settled our separate affairs.  Now it is me and you.  One on one, mano y mano.  Otherwise this confrontation would be meaningless.  In NXT, THEY need to know who the real champion is.  You need to know it.  I need to know it.  The whole world needs to know it.

Finn says they all want to be champion until the real champion walks in the room.  Finn says that he will say what no one else has the balls to say.  You walk like a champion and you talk like a champion but Finn Balor is the champion and you don’t have what it takes to beat me.

Kross says he promises Finn at Takeover, you are going to know exactly what it feels when I squeeze the oxygen out of your skull and choke you out.

Finn says Kross will know what it feels like to be in the main event of Takeover and… choke.

Scarlett says she has already seen this in the cards.  This, right here, two champions, both draped in gold.  The world in awe.  It all happens for a reason.

Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan come out and Danny tells them that they have their fighting words.  They are only words.  Balor, you know who you should be fighting?  Oney says it should be the best technical wrestler in the world, Pete Dunne.  The man who held the NXT UK Championship for 415 days.  We know that Pete can beat Finn and we know Pete can beat you Kross.  Oney says it is a matter of time before Pete Dunne is champion.

Scarlett says there are moments in time, like this, that lead us to an inevitable future.  Moments like this where you put your tag titles on the line against… them.

Danny is not a fan of that.  Scarlett says they are confident, aren’t you?  You know what you want, don’t you?  You both know what you bring to the table?  You wouldn’t stand the word coward being associated with you?  Danny says Scarlett is right.  They aren’t cowards, they are champs.  Danny accepts the challenge.

Scarlett asks if they see that every moment happens for a reason.  You can’t change fate.
