The Best Wrestling Podcasts to Follow
Whilst wrestling has always been a huge name in sporting entertainment but has also always had more of a niche crowd and following. The successes of combat sports as a whole over the past few years and the crossover of certain athletes has certainly brought many eyes upon wrestling, however, and the entertainment options that have come from that have grown too with the rise of markets such as betting as matchbook bonus code and other big benefits have come to wrestling, along with new video and audio content to hype you up for the big events. The biggest of this content is definitely within podcasting, but which are some of the best wrestling podcast to follow in 2021?
The Steve Austin Show – Stone Cold himself now hosts a podcast which largely focusses on the past adventures of his own life, but as wrestling has played such a huge role in his success there is plenty of wrestling content involve too. Perhaps the most recent example of this is within the recent episode Mark “The Undertaker” Calaway looking back at his own storied career – and with other interviews with big wrestling stars, it’s certainly worth a listen if you’re looking for a more insider look at the industry and what goes on behind the scenes.
Talk Is Jericho – In a similar fashion, Chris Jericho also hosts his own podcast but with less of a focus on himself and more of a focus on the wrestling industry as a whole. It offers a very similar approach to Steve Austins show, and provides a great platform if you’d like an insider look at the industry from the talent perspective with all of the ups and downs, the heavy toll all of the travel and entertainment takes, as well as some takes on subjects away from wrestling now and then too.
WhatCulture Wrestling – WhatCulture have been running a successful YouTube channel covering a number of different topics over the years, and now have a podcast focussed on wrestling giving insider perspectives, breaking news, exclusive interviews, and a number of engagement options through quizzes and more. Where the previous two options may have given a bit of a bias look toward wrestling, this option steps outside of that a little and takes a more journalistic approach to wrestling podcasting – there’s still a lot of great content however, and certainly worth checking out.
Wrestle Talk’s Wrestle Ramble – With a full focus on the wrestling industry and nothing else, this weekly podcast presented by Francesca Wood and Adam Brown brings you all of the wrestling news you’d need brought as a talk show – offering much of the same as the others through interviews and exclusive news, this is a great option if you’re looking for more of a informal talk show approach rather than a typically podcasting or interview experience that is more present across the others – and with an episode per day becoming available, you’ll never run out of content to help get you through the day.
