Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals
Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon

We go to the ring for the finals of the first-ever Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic as Alicia Taylor does the introductions. Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez are out first. Out next comes Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart to a pop, riding in on Ember’s tank.

Shotzi and Gonzalez start things off and Gonzalez with a shoudler tackle.  Shotzi with a sleeper but Gonzalez with a snap mare to escape.  Moon tags in and Moon wiht a waist lock.  Gonzalez with an elbow and Moon with an octopus but Gonzalez with a side slam to escape.  Shotzi tags in and they both kick Gonzalez but Gonzalez with a kick to Shotzi and she blocks a Codebreaker attempt.  Gonzalez drops down on a sunset flip attempt for a near fall.  Gonzalez sends Shotzi into the turnbuckles and connects with shoudlers and then she runs Shotzi into the turnbuckles.  Dakota tags in and she kicks Shotiz in the head and Gonzalez with a side slam.  Dakota gets a near fal.

Kai with an Irish whip but she misses a Yakuza Kick when Shotzi moves.  Shotzi blocks a kick and takes Kai to the mat and applies a cloverleaf but Kai gets to the ropes to force a break.  Moon holds Kai and Shotzi with a back senton into Ki.  Ember tags in and connects with a knee and slingshot splash for a near fall.  Moon kicks Kai in the leg and Shotzi tags in and they make a wish.  Shotzi with a forearm and she puts the leg in the ropes.  Kai knocks Shotzi down and Blackheart blocks a kick and applies a single leg crab.  Moon tags in and they roll rhough and send Kai into the mat.  Moon with a heel hook.  Moon pulls Kai away from her corner to prevent the tag.

Kai reaches for the tag again but Moon pulls Kai back into the center of the ring.  Kai with kicks to Moon and Moon keeps Kai from making the tag.  Shotzi tags in and Raquel comes in and distracts the referee and the referee, since he did not see the tag, sends Moon back into the match.  Moon with a running forearm to knock Gonzalez off the apron and then hits a kneeDT.  Moon with an ankle lock on Kai.  Kai rolls through and sends Moon into the turnbuckles.  Gonzalez tags in and she clotheslines Moon a few times.  Gonzalez with a forearm to the chest.  Gonzalez sends Moon’s head into the turnbuckles.  

Gonzalez with a fallaway slam.  Gonzalez with another fallaway slam and then she grabs Shotzi and gives her a fallaway slam.  Gonzalez gets a near fall on Moon.  Kai tags in and she goes up top and Gonzalez helps Kai hit a clothesline for a near fall.  Shotzi punches Gonzalez but Shotzi pulls Gonzalez to the floor.  Shotzi slaps Gonzalez but Raquel catches Shotzi off the apron and Gonzalez sends Shotzi into the ringside barrier and plexiglass.  Moon with a drop kick and Moon with a power slam to Kai.  Moon with punches to Gonzalez but Gonzalez holds Moon and Kai with a drop kick to the back.  Gonzalez gets a near fall.  Moon with a jaw breaker.

Gonzalez with a forearm.  Kai tags in and Gonzalez with an Irish whip and Kai with a face wash for a near fall.  Gonzalez tags in and she goes to clothesline Moon but Moon ducks and Gonzalez clotheslines Kai.  Moon avoids a splash from Gonzalez.  Moon with a leg lariat and that leads to a DDT on Kai.  Moon with Eclipse but Kai keeps the referee from making the count.  Moon gets a near fall.  Moon pulls Kai into the ring.  Shotzi with a missile drop kick to Gonzalez while Gonzalez goes for the choke slam and Moon gets a near fall.  Moon with a drop kick for a near fall.

Kai and Shotzi tag in and Shotzi with an arm drag and splash followed by a bulldog.  Shotzi gets Kai up and hits a facebuster for a near fall.  Shotzi with an enzuigiri to Raquel but Raquel sends Shotzi to the turnbuckles.  Shotzi with Sliced Bread from the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Shotzi with a suicide dive on Kai in front of the announce table.  Ember tags in and she goes up top.  Shotzi with a neck breaker and Ember with a Codebreaker.  Shotzi with Code Red and Ember gets a near fall.  Ember goes up top again and Ember stops Kai and Ember with a cross body to Kai who was on Shotzi’s shoulders on the floor.  Raquel knocks Shotzi down and Ember sends Raquel into the ring steps.

Ember kicks Raquel in the knees and Ember with a scorpion stretch but Kai kicks Moon to force the hold to be released.  Kai and Shotzi tag in and Kai with a scorpion kick followed by KaiRopractor for a near fall.  Gonzalez tags in and she gets Shotzi on her shoulders and Kai with a GTK but Moon breaks up the cover.  Raquel sends Ember over the top rope onto the ramp and then off the ramp into the fencing.  Shotzi with a leg drop to the back of the head for a near fall.  Shotzi with a drop kick to Gonzalez and then she back drops Kai into Raquel.  Gonzalez knocks Shotzi off the turnbuckles.  Gonzales slams Kai onto Shotzi and then Gonzalez with a choke slam for the three count.

Winners:  Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez

After the match, William Regal congratulates Dakota and Raquel on their victory and the confetti flies.

— We see the participants in the Men’s Championship Match arriving at the building earlier today.

NXT North American Title Match
Kushida vs. Johnny Gargano (c)

As Johnny Gargano walks to the ring with The Way, Dexter Lumis chloroforms Austin Theory and takes him away.  Gargano notices that Austin is not on the stage and he wants to know what is going on.  He tells Candice and Indi to find Austin.

Gargano with a shoulder tackle but KUSHIDA goes for the Hoverboard Lock and Gargano gets to the ropes.  Gargano with a single leg take down.  KUSHIDA with a reverse chin lock and he starts to work on the arm and then he works on the leg before returning to the arm.  Gargano with a front face lock into a wrist lock.  KUSHIDA with a drop toe hold into a front face lock.  Gargano tries to escape but KUSHIDA holds on and applies a rear chin lock.  KUSHIDA with a shoulder tackle and he does a cartwheel to counter a rana.  KUSHIDA misses a kick and KUSHIDA goes for a hip toss but Gargano counters into a rollup.  KUSHIDA with a GargaNo Escape on Gargano but Johnny gets to the ropes.

Gargano with a forearm to KUSHIDA and then he sends KUSHIDA to the floor.  Gargano with a baseball slide but he misses.  KUSHIDA misses a knee off the apron.  Gargano sends KUSHIDA into the ring steps.  Gargano goes for a suplex on the floor but KUSHIDA counters into a suplex and he appllies a cross arm breaker and Gargano taps on the floor but it does not end the match.  KUSHIDA breaks the count and returns to Gargano and he hits a chicken wing suplex on the floor.  

They return to the ring and KUSHIDA with a drop kick to the arm.  KUSHIDA continues to work on the arm as Gargano tries to keep KUSHIDA away from the arm.  KUSHIDA with elbows to the ribs and then he works on the wrist and slams the hand to the mat.  KUSHIDA with a wrist lock.  Gargano sends KUSHIDA Into the turnbuckles but KUSHIDA with an elbow.  Gargano with a neck breaker in the ropes.  Gargano tries to get feeling back into his injured arm.  Gargano hangs KUSHIDA over the apron and slams his throat into the edge of the apron.  Gargano with a forearm to the head.  Gargano with a suplex and he gets a near fall.  Gargano with a gourdbuster and a kick to KUSHIDA’s arm.

Gargano with a rear chin lock in the ropes and the referee warns Gargano.  Gargano with a modified abdominal stretch.  KUSHIDA with an octopus.  Gargano escapes and he drops down when KUSHIDA goes for a sunset flip.  They alternate near falls.  KUSHIDA with a La Magistral for a near fall.  KUSHIDA and Gargano both go down on a double clothesline.  Gargano with forearms but KUSHIDA with punches and a reverse atomic drop and hip toss and cartwheel followed by a drop kick.  KUSHIDA with a punch and then he stomps on Gargano’s clavicle.  KUSHIDA with a guillotine but Gargano escapes and connects with a forearm.  KUSHIDA with a forearm.  Gargano with an enzuigiri.  KUSHIDA iwth a take down into an ankle lock.  Gargano gets to teh ropes and KUSHIDA with a German suplex.

KUSHIDA with a round kick to the head for a near fall.  Gargano with a Northern Lariat but KUSHIDA sends Gargano to the apron.  KUSHIDA goes for a handspring kick but Gargano moves.  KUSHIDA blocks the slingshot spear and KUSHIDA with a chicken wing suplex and a bridging chicken wing suplex for a near fall.  Gargano with a kick but KUSHIDA with a punch to knock Gargano down on the apron.  KUSHIDA sends Gargano’s elbow into the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA goes for the Hoverboard Lock in the ropes but Gargano pushes KUSHIDA away.  KUSHIDA with a handspring kick to knock Gargano down on the turnbuckles.

KUSHIDA sets for the wrist lock take down but Gargano with a twisting superplex off the turnbuckels.  Gargano with a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Gargano gets KUSHIDA up for a lawn dart but KUSHIDA escapes.  KUSHIDA with an arm drag and KUSHIDA with La Mistica but Gargano escapes and both men go for submissions.  KUSHIDA with a cross arm breaker but Gargano rolls through for a near fall.  Both men with clotheslines and punches and both men are down.

KUSHIDA with a forearm and Gargano fires back.  They go back and forth and get back to their feet.  KUSHIDA with kicks and he goes for a handspring back elbow but Gargano counters and tries to lock in the GargaNo Escape.  Gargano locks it in.  KUSHIDA gets his arm free and he is able to counter into a Hoverboard Lock.  Gargano tries to get to the ropes but KUSHIDA rolls into the ring and KUSHIDA with a bridge for a near fall.  Gargano with a super kick and KUSHIDA with a punch.  Gargano catches KUSHIDA and Gargano with a lawn dart.  

KUSHIDA goes for a flatliner into the turnbuckles but Gargano blocks it.  KUSHIDA with a chicken wing suplex into the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA grabs Gargano and lifts him to the turnbuckles.  KUSHIDA with a Spanish Fly and he applies the Cross Arm Breaker but Gargano locks his hands.  KUSHIDA unlocks the arms and Gargano tries to get to the ropes but Gargano cannot get there.  Gargano gets his foot on the ropes.  Gargano rolls to the floor and he brings KUSHIDA to teh floor.  Gargano backs KUSHIDA Into the apron but KUSHIDA keeps the Hoverboard Lock applied.  Gargano backs KUSHIDA into the ringside barrier.  Gargano starts to go to the back.

KUSHIDA appears at the entrance and kicks Gargano in the arm.  KUSHIDA with the Hoverboard Lock and Gargano puts KUSHIDA In the ropes and sends KUSHIDA’s throat into the top rope to escape.  Gargano with One Final Beat on the ramp.  Gargano goes for One Final Beat into the ring and hits it for the three count.

Winner:  Johnny Gargano

After the match, Gargano is laid out on his back as the music hits. The referee brings the title over and he finally starts to move. Kushida is barely moving as well. We go to replays as Gargano takes the title. We come back to Gargano standing tall but still beat up.

— We see Mercedes Martinez getting ready in the back for her match.  We see Toni Storm in the back.  Io Shirai is also in the back.

Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals
MSK (Wes Lee, Nash Carter) vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake, Zack Gibson)

Zack Gibson tells MSK that you lads have had quite the emotional journey to get here today.  Here is some friendly advice from the veterans to the new guys.  You are not here to have fun.  You will not enjoy a single second of this fight.  You can take your flips and spins and your green pajamas and shove them up your ass because this trophy is theirs.

Carter and Gibson start things off.  They lock up and Carter goes to the turnbuckles and comes off with a side head lock and take down.  Gibson with an arm bar.  Carter tries to escape but Gibson holds on to the wrist lock.  Carter with an arm drag to escape and Gibson runs Carter into the corner and Drake tags in.  Drake with a forearm.  Drake with a side head lock take down.  Carter avoids Drake and hits a springboard cross body.  Carter with an Irish whip and an uppercut into the corner.  Lee tags in and Drake with a kick and he hits a bronco buster.  Lee with a side head lock and Gibson tags in.  Lee with a kick to Drake and a head scissors to Gibson.  Carter and Lee with kicks to Gibson and Carter with a double stomp to the back.

Lee with a Space Flying Tiger Drop onto Gibson and Drake.  Carter with a plancha off Lee’s back onto Drake but Gibson with a clothesline.  Gibson with forearms and elbows to Carter.  Drake tags in and hits an elbow.  Gibson with a splash and then Drake with a spinning heel kick for a few near falls.  Carter with a snap mare to escape but Drake with a kick and he gets a near fall.  Gibson tags in and they hit a double back elbow and Gibson with a near fall.  Gibson with another near fall.  

Drake tags in and Carter with a boot to Drake and he flips over Gibson to try to make a tag but Drake with a clothesline for a near fall.  Drake sends Carter into the turnbuckles but Carter with an elbow to Gibson on the apron.  Drake with forearms and Carter with a suplex and both men are down.  Gibson pulls Lee off the apron and then Gibson comes into the ring to force the referee to send Lee to the apron.  Drake with a missile drop kick while Gibson hits a flatliner and Drake gets a near fall.

Lee goes up top but Drake grabs the lag and Gibson knocks Lee off the turnbuckles.  Gibson goes for a power bomb but Lee counters with a sitout gourdbuster.  Carter tags in and hits a super kick on Gibson followed by a drop kick to knock Drake off the apron.  Carter with punches to Gibson and a double leg take down.  Carter with punches and Gibson pushes Carter off.  Carter with a springboard hesitation cutter for a near fall.  Gibson with a kick and Lee tags in.  Gibson with an elbow to Carter and an elbow to Lee.  Lee with a punch to Gibson but Gibson with a double thrust to the throat.  Lee with a kick.  Gibson with a knee and Drake tags in.  Gibson with Helter Skelter and Drake with a 450 splash for a near fall.

Drake with a forearm and Gibson tags in.  Gibson gets Lee on his shoulders but Lee with a victory roll to avoid Drake off the turnbuckles and Lee with a near fall.  Gibson with punches.  Drake tags in and they set for Ticket to Mayhem but Carter stops Gibson.  Lee sends Carter onto Gibson and Lee with a poisonrana to Drake.  Carter with a swanton and Lee with a twisting splash off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Carter tags in and Lee goes to the floor when Gibson pulls the ropes.  Drake with forearms to Carter.  Drake and Carter with a suicide dive Doomsday Device to Lee on the floor.

Carter is alone in the ring and Carter punches Drake and knocks Gibson off the apron.  Drake clips Carter and then Carter punches Gibson and Drake and adds chops.  Gibson with a lungblower and power bomb combination for a near fall.  Gibson slaps Carter and tags Drake in.  They set for Ticket to Mayhem but Lee makes the save.  Carter and Lee with super kicks.  Lee tags in and they hit a Hart Attack Blockbuster for the three count.

Winners:  MSK

After the match, fans cheer as the music hits and MSK recovers. Carter and Lee stand up in the middle of the ring, then hug each other. We go to replays. We come back to MSK on the stage now, celebrating at the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic trophy as the pyro goes off and confetti falls.

Triple Threat for the NXT Women’s Title
Toni Storm vs. Mercedes Martinez vs. Io Shirai (c)

Martinez attacks Io during the introductions and then Storm goes after Martinez.  Martinez punches Storm and Io with a kick to Martinez for a near fall.  Martinez with forearms to Io and Io sends Martinez to the floor.  Storm with a kick and shoulder tackle.  Io avoids a kick and Io with a take down and flapjack.  Io kicks Martinez to the floor and then hits a double stomp on Storm.  Io with kicks to Storm and she chokes Storm in the corner.  Storm with a kick to Io and a sliding clothesline against the ropes.  Martinez punches Storm and hits a swinging neck breaker off the bottom rope to the floor.  Io misses an Asai Moonsault when Martinez moves.  Martinez sends Io over the ringside barrier.

Storm is sent back into the ring by Martinez and Martinez gets a near fall.  Martinez with a choke slam and she gets a near fall.  Martinez kicks Storm and sets for a suplex and hits it.  Martinez holds on and rolls through for one more.  Storm blocks a third suplex and Io with a missile drop kick to Martinez.  Io with running knees to Martinez in the corner but Storm with a Bossman Slam to Io.  Storm with a running hip to Io.  Storm runs into a spinebuster from Martinez and Martinez gets a near fall.  Martinez with a Regal Stretch and Io with a drop kick to Martinez to break up the hold.  Io with a crossface to Storm.  Martinez with a Dragon Sleeper on Io while Io still has Storm in the crossface.

Storm escapes the crossface and Martinez with a dragon sleeper suplex.  Martinez misses a boot in the ropes and Io with a Tiger Feint Kick to Martinez.  Io with a springboard drop kick and Martinez rolls to the floor.  Io goes to the turnbuckles and Storm stops Io.  Storm sets for a superplex but Martinez stops Storm and Io falls to the floor.  Martinez with forearms to the back on the turnbuckels and a hanging German superplex.  Io goes up top and she chops Martinez to put her in the tree of woe.  Io with a double stomp to Martinez and all three women are down. Io goes after Martinez on the floor and connects with forearms.  Martinez with a punch and she gets Io on her shoulders and hits a running Death Valley Driver into the fencing.  Storm with a clothesline to Martinez.

Storm breaks the announce table.  Storm sets for Storm Zero on the floor but Martinez escapes and hits a DDT on the floor.  Io climbs the light post and hits a cross body on Storm and Martinez.  Martinez sends io into the ring steps.  Storm grabs Martinez but Martinez slams Toni’s head into the apron.  Martinez with a running knee to the head and She hits a V Trigger and a two more.  Martinez sets for the fisherman’s buster and hits it for a near fall.  

Martinez gets Storm on her shoulders and Storm with a rollup and a head butt.  Storm sets for Storm Zero and hits it for a near fall.  Storm goes to the turnbuckles and she hits a diving head butt to the ribs.  Storms goes for the cover but Io with a moonsault onto both women and Io pins Martinez.

Winner:  Io Shirai

After the match, Shirai recovers and takes the title as we go to replays. Shirai poses in the corner with the title and is all smiles as Storm and Martinez try to recover.

Pete Dunne vs. Finn Balor (c)

We go to the ring for tonight’s main event and out first comes Pete Dunne. The dramatic music starts up as we see NXT Champion Finn Balor approaching the steps of the stage in the back. Balor’s entrance music starts up as he makes his way to the ring to a pop. We get formal ring introductions from Taylor as they face off in the middle of the ring.

The bell rings and neither man moves at first.  They lock up and Balor backs Dunne into the corner and gives a clean break.  Dunne with a wrist lock but Balor with an arm bar take down.  Dunne goes for the leg and he goes for the fingers but Balor avoids it.  Balor with a wrist lock into an arm bar.  Dunne with a take down but Balor holds on to the wrist lock.  Balor with a take down and he holds on to the arm with an arm bar.  Dunne with a monkey flip and Balor holds on to the wrist lock.  Dunne with a wrist lock.

They lock up and Balor with a side head lock take down.  Balor with a shoulder tackle and a side head lock take down.  Balor with a shoulder tackle.  Balor with a side head lock take down and Dunne with a head scissors.  Dunne adds pressure in the head scissors.  They lock up and Dunne with a shoulder against the ropes.  Balor backs Dunne into the corner and Dunne goes for the hand and he twists the hand and pulls at the fingers.  Balor with a back body drop and Dunne goes for a sunset flip but Balor escapes.  Dunne with a triangle but Balor escapes.  Balor with a double wrist lock.  Dunne goes for a cross arm breaker but Balor locks his hands and Dunne adds pressure to the jaw with his legs.  Balor grabs the leg but Dunne with a wrist lock and a hammer lock using the arm and he pulls back the other arm and hyper-extends it and applies a cross arm breaker.

 Balor gets to the ropes and escapes the hold.  Dunne with a double wrist lock take down.  Dunne pulls at the fingers and has Balor in a head scissors with the wrist lock.  Dunne with his elbow against the ribs.  Balor kicks Dunn in the leg and he takes Dunne down with a single leg take down and he works on the leg.  Balor with a heel hook.  Balor kicks the leg.  Balor with a single leg sweep into a single leg crab.  Dunne tries to add pressure to the jaw to force Balor to release the hold.  Dunne with a guillotine into an X Plex.  Dunne with forearms but Balor fires back.  Balor grabs the ankle and puts the leg on the ropes and drops a knee on the injured leg.

Balor with a single leg trip and Dunne goes for a triangle into a rollup for a near fall.  Dunne with an enzuigiri but Balor with a clothesline for a near fall.  Balor kicks Dunne.  Balor with knees to the back and Balor with a heel hook and forearms to the leg.  Balor with forearms to the back of the head to set up an STF and Balor locks it in.  Dunne slams the hand into the mat to escape the hold.  Balor chops Dunne and chokes him in the ropes.  Balor with a chop.  Balor with another chop and he chokes Dunne in the ropes.  Balor with a chop but Dunne chops back.  Balor with an Irish whip and Dunne tries to flip out of the corner and his knee gives out and then Balor with a drop kick.

Dunne with a forearm and Dunne blocks a Pele Kick.  Dunne stomps on Balor and Dunne with a head butt and sit out power bomb for a near fall.  Dunne puts the elbow on the mat and Dunne stomps on it.  Dunne with a German suplex and he stomps on the hands.  Dunne misses a kick and gets caught in the ropes.  Balor kicks Dunne in the back of the leg and connects with a forearm and hits a lungblower.  Balor with an elevated elbow drop. Balor drop kicks Dunne into the corner.  Balor looks around and goes up top for Coup De Grace and Dunne is able to catch Balor in the triangle.  Balor tries to get to the ropes and Dunne rolls Balor into the center of the ring.  Dunne with shots to the head while Balor turns purple but Balor gets his foot on the ropes.

The referee checks on Balor ad Dunne grabs Balor but the referee pulls Dunne away to check on Balor.  Balor says he is okay and Dunne kicks Balor in the head and Balor blocks the Bitter End and Balor with a knee and abdominal stretch and he sits down on the mat.  Dunne pulls the fingers.  Balor with a forearm and he kicks Dunne.  Dunne sends Balor’s arm into his groinal region.  Dunne with Bitter End for a near fall.  Dunne stomps on the hands and he does it again.  Dunne with a kick to the head followed by a power bomb attempt but Balor counters with a DDT.  Balor runs into an enzuigiri.  Balor with a Pele Kick but Dunne with a kick to the head.  Balor with 1916 for a near fall.  Dunne holds on to Balor’s hand and Balor kicks Dunne in the knee.  Balor with a double stomp to the back.  Balor pulls out Dunne’s mouthpiece and throws it out of the ring.

Balor with a drop kick to the head ad he goes up top and hits Coup de Grace.  Balor with 1916 for the three count.

Winner:  Finn Balor

After the match, Balor recovers as the music hits. We go to replays. We come back to Balor standing tall with the title. He poses in the corner as the crowd cheers him on. Dunne is down but recovering. Balor poses on the stage with the title around his waist until NXT Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch run out, dropping Balor from behind. The boos get louder as Burch and Lorcan bring Balor into the ring for the double team. The referee tries to stop the attack but he gets knocked down, possibly by a recovering Dunne. Dunne joins in for the triple team until The Undisputed Era’s music hits for a big pop. Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong run down and hit the ring as Dunne, Burch and Lorcan retreat to the stage. O’Reilly checks on Balor and offers his hand. O’Reilly helps Balor to his feet and they shake as fans cheer them on. The Undisputed Era stands in the middle of the ring and does their pose as Balor stands with them, doing his own pose. Cole suddenly superkicks Balor out of nowhere. O’Reilly and Strong, especially O’Reilly, aren’t happy with this. O’Reilly has words with Cole while we hear Strong say he understands what Cole did. Cole superkicks O’Reilly out of nowhere and lays him out next to Balor on the mat. Strong looks a bit unsure about everything but he’s with Cole. The boos get louder now as Cole looks down at O’Reilly, who is barely moving. Cole and Strong exit the ring while Balor and O’Reilly are still down. NXT “Takeover: Vengeance Day” goes off the air.
