Hollywood’s Growing Wrestling Talent – Wrestling is still one of the most popular forms of sports entertainment in the world, it has helped to produce some of the biggest stars in the world too either from a career in wrestling and moving to the big screen, or from moving from other sports such as MMA into the world of WWE and onwards after. Whilst many moving through entertainment have the benefit of being big draws for this such as betting like here with the growing options available not on Gamstop, they continue to be growing talent elsewhere too, with the silver screen leading the way.

A lot of the success that can be found is down to the talent themselves – building all of the skills as entertainers first, the skills are easily transferable to the movie screen and has helped them become some of the biggest draws – but who are the biggest talents to move to Hollywood, and will it be a trend that continues?

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson – By far the biggest of the Hollywood draws, and quickly becoming the highest paid actor in all of Hollywood too – the most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment has made a great name for himself outside of wrestling. His success has also been a big reason why many other wrestling stars have made the transition, as he leads the way for others to follow, and builds a blueprint for future stars.

John Cena – Another of the big names to make the shift around the same time as The Rock, John Cena initially received some criticism for the choices for not playing diverse roles but has since certainly come into his own as an actor – since moving away from only action based roles and has found his chops in the likes of comedy too, and certainly a huge step forward for the former champ.

Dave Bautista – Much like both Johnson and Cena, Bautista’s early roles were largely action oriented but again much like the other two has manged to adjust his own acting chops to fill out more diverse roles – appearing in some big blockbusters like James Bond, he has certainly started to show a lot more diversity in his roles and is well on his way to becoming one of the biggest draws in Hollywood, perhaps even looking to overtake the position that the Rock currently holds!

With these big stars leading the way, it has led to many other young stars looking to make the transition – Sasha Banks is one of the latest following her small role in the Mandalorian, and there will certainly be many more to follow – for some it certainly seems if wrestling is just a steppingstone into the now wider entertainment industry.
