Royal Rumble Entrants – Natalya and Tamina Snuka faced off during tonight’s WWE Backstage Special, with the winner getting the most coveted spot in the Women’s Royal Rumble tomorrow night.
In a hard-fought match, it was Natalya who came away with the win, and who will now be the 30th entrant in the Royal Rumble. With the victory, Natalya secures herself what is widely considered to be the best spot in the Royal Rumble event. Now, she’ll have the opportunity to come in last and likely have the best chance to come out on top, although nothing is guaranteed. Natalya is looking to secure another title opportunity, though, so locking in the 30th entrant spot is huge for her, and we’ll have to wait and see how things turn out when the Royal Rumble kicks off tomorrow night.
Also revealed during tonight’s episode of WWE Backstage, Edge and Randy Orton will be the first two men to enter the Royal Rumble when the match kicks off tomorrow night, pitting the former friends turned rivals against each other in a major way.
After facing off in multiple matches over the last year, the two superstars will now enter the Royal Rumble and be forced to take each other on to start. Officially, Randy Orton will be the #1 entrant, and Edge will be #2, but the two superstars will be alone in the ring together regardless of number.
The Royal Rumble pay-per-view will kick off tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. EST.
