Beth Phoenix Returns to NXT – WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix finally made her return on tonight’s NXT episode at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
Beth Phoenix was previously laying down her commentary from home. She did it live, but remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Glamazon was back on NXT this week.
Phoenix was beside Joseph and Barrett this week on WWE NXT. It was a bit of a surprise to see her there because it had been a long time since she was able to make a live NXT event.
Later in the show, Beth Phoenix and NXT General Manager William Regal were on the stage to announce the Women’s Dusty Classic trophy. Phoenix talked about how NXT has been at the forefront of the Women’s Evolution as images displayed of several main roster Superstars who have come through the black & yellow brand. Phoenix then introduced Mercedes Martinez, Toni Storm, Kayden Carter, and Kacy Catanzaro for a face-off.
We will have to see if Beth Phoenix continues to appear live every week for WWE NXT, but she was around this week. Plenty of fans were happy to see her as well.
