AEW has called Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida their home during the pandemic but, according to Bodyslam.net, there are plans to move next month.
According to the report, AEW plans on moving to Miami for their Dynamite and Dark tapings for the month of February. The AEW Revolution pay-per-view will also reportedly take place in Miami. There is no word yet on which venue in Miami would host the AEW shows.
Apparently, the decision was made because of the feeling that a change of scenery would be good for morale. Another issue with running shows in Jacksonville at this time of the year is the colder temperatures. Kenny Omega said recently that it can take an extra toll on wrestlers to put on matches in cold weather.
Presumably, the Beach Break themed edition of Dynamite will take place in Miami instead of Jacksonville but that is not confirmed. That themed show was scheduled for later this month but it may have been pushed to February due to schedule changes because of the Brodie Lee tribute show.
