AEW New Year’s Smash Night 2 Results – Recap video of the rivalry between Eddie Kingston and PAC is shown.

– Earlier today, Kingston tells PAC he’s going to bust him up, and then PAC’s going back home (and never coming back).

PAC with Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Eddie Kingston with The Blade, The Butcher, and The Bunny

PAC immediately knocks Kingston out of the ring and hits a flip down on him. Back in the ring, pump kick to the Kingston’s face, and then a few more in the corner. PAC goes to the top, hits a missile dropkick, kip up, more strikes. Kingston finally gets in some offense with a few punches, gets on the second rope, knee drop to the back of the head. He boots PAC to the outside, Bunny scratches at his eyes. Kingston takes over the match, big chops in the corner, elbow to the back of the neck.

PAC with a flurry of strikes, to get back into this one. More kicks to the chest by PAC. Kingston drops PAC to the mat, chop in the corner, charges, misses, but then lands a few shots. Kingston heads to the top rope, but eats a kick to the face. PAC goes up top and lands a superplex, cover, two. Both men get up, Kingston drops PAC, slow to cover, two. Kingston tries for a DDT, PAC holds the rope, then lands a low dropkick. PAC heads to the top rope, black arrow hits, cover, 1-2-3.

Winner: PAC via Pinfall

Post-match, PAC locks in the brutalizer for a moment. Blade and Butcher jump in the ring, but so do Penta and Fenix. From the back, Lance Archer (along with Jake Roberts) runs out and clears Kingston’s group out of the ring. Archer tells PAC he needs to “get on the same page” as him. Archer then heads to the back and PAC celebrates with his guys.

Miro with Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford vs. Chuck Taylor with Orange Cassidy

Sabian carries a cutout of Trent to the ring. The cutout has tape on Trent’s shoulder. Taylor attacks Miro as he gets in the ring and knocks him out to the floor. Chuck tosses Miro into the side of the stage repeatedly. Taylor hits a Somersault Plancha over the top to the floor on Miro and tosses him into the barricade.

Taylor tosses Miro into the ring post and then hits a Ghetto Stomp off the apron. He rolls Miro in the ring and then goes up top but Sabian attacks OC on the outside. Taylor gets down and kicks Sabian but it allows Miro to lay him out and hit a Samoan Drop followed by a series of body strikes and then an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Miro hits a Corner Splash followed by a Spinning Heel Kick.

Miro hits a Leaping Thrust Kick and locks in the Accolade. Taylor fights for a second but taps.

Winner: Miro

Matt Hardy and Private Party is backstage with Dasha and Private Party complain about Hardy taking 30 percent of their contract and lying about the third party deal. Matt says it was in the fine print and it’s their faults for not listening. Marq Quen calls him a “money grubbing carny.” Matt gets pissed and tells them to shut up and do as he says.

The Inner Circle comes down to the ring to reveal their New Year’s resolutions. Jake Hager’s resolution is simple: championships. MJF says his resolution is to “continue strengthen the bonds” of the Inner Circle and “fat guys need to go.” Ortiz wants to perfect one of his grandmother’s recipes.

Jericho says this is the year that he and MJF are going to win the tag team championships. Santana gets a little irritated about that and says that Jericho handpicked he and Ortiz to be THE tag team in the Inner Circle. Guevara interrupts and calls Jericho a little “tag team slut.”

Guevara gets mad because Jericho used to team with him and now he’s teaming with MJF and he used to team with Hager too. Guevara asks what he’s going to do next team with Snoop Dogg and Jericho says maybe. MJF tells Guevara to calm down but Guevara tells him to shut up and Hager tells Guevara to let MJF talk.

Jericho tries to calm every one down and says any one of them could team together and win the titles. He says like Wardlow and Hager blew off some steam in their match they should do the same thing next week with a 3-Way Tag Team Match to decide who the official tag team of the Inner Circle. So, it will be PNP vs. MJF/Jericho and Guevara/Hager.

The Dark Order backstage says that they do everything in honor of Brodie Lee and they will team with Adam Page next week. The Beaver Boys ask Page to join the group again and he says that he will give them an answer next week.

A video package highlights Team Taz’s beef with Darby Allin.

The Elite is backstage with Don Callis and are going to make their Elite entrance together but Callis says the Bucks are stars on their own and should get their own separate entrance.

After Omega makes his entrance, Callis says that the band is back together and then introduces Omega’s “best friends” but introduces The Good Brothers instead of the Bucks. “Business is business but best friends are forever,” Callis says. The Bucks are shown shaking their heads backstage.

The Elite (Kenny Omega, DOC Gallows & Karl Anderson) vs. Varsity Blondes & Danny Limelight

Danny Limelight gets some offense oen Omega but eats a Big Boot from Gallows. The Varsity Blondes clothesline Gallows to the floor, though. Omega hits a Kotarro Crusher on Limelight and tags Anderson. Anderson puts Limelight in a Chinlock as we head to a break.

The Elite hit a Triple Splash on Limelight during the break. Limelight hits a Rope-Walk Springboard Rana on Omega. He misses an Enziguri but lands on his feet as Omega attempts a German Suplex and connects with an Enziguri. Pillman and Anderson tag in and Anderson hits a Springboard Flying Clothesline. Griff tags in and the Blondes hit a Hart Attack Neckbreaker for a close two count.

Garrison goes for a Stinger Splash but Anderson moves and tags Omega. Omega hits a Flying Elbow in the corner and Anderson hits a Flying Side Kick followed by a Splash from Gallows. The Elite hits a Triple Neckbreaker on Garrison for a nearfall before Pillman breaks it up.

Anderson hits a Flying Mafia Kick but Garrison kicks out two. Anderson attempts the Gun Stun but Garrison blocks it and tags Limelight. Limelight hits a Double Spring but Anderson catches him in midair and connects with a Spinebuster. Good Brothers hit the Magic Killer for the pin.

Winners: The Elite

Jon Moxley walks down to the ring and goes after Omega but The Good Brothers pull him off and the numbers get the better of him. The Lucha Brothers run out and even up the odds! A bunch of other wrestlers run out to try break up the fight but Moxley Paradigm Shifts one of the guys and hits a Tope onto a bunch of goes. The Bucks run out to calm Moxley down. The Lucha Brothers come in and kick The Bucks’ heads off! The fight ensues as Omega and Callis retreat.

Britt Baker interviews Cody Rhodes on her “Waiting Room” segment. Baker says she doesn’t know how in the world he landed that TV show on TNT but they’re happy for him. Baker asks who Cody’s guy is Shaq or Sting and says he should make a good choice unlike that thing on his neck.

Baker makes a snarky comment about Cody’s kid getting an action figure before she does. Before Cody can say anything Baker says she has another huge surprise guest and welcomes Jade Cargill out. Cargill says no one gives a damn that Brandi is pregnant but says that Cody did her a huge favor for getting her pregnant. Jade says that she and Shaq are done waiting and wants to know who her opponent is.

Jade says if Brandi ever returns she will beat her ass and then pie faces her. Red Velvet walks up – Jade attacked her a few weeks ago – and slaps Jade. Jade slaps her back and a fight breaks out until a bunch of the women break it up.

After Baker shows the video of her attacking Thunder Rosa again, Rosa appears on the screen and says that Baker does these talk show segments because she doesn’t want to do the work in the ring, but at Beach Break she will have to. It will be Rosa vs. Baker on Feb. 3.

The Jurassic Express vs. FTR

Cash picks Marko up and tosses him in to the corner. Dax tags in and Marko flips over him and Jungle Boy comes in and gets in FTR’s faces. Marko slaps Dax but he then eats a bunch of forearms and punches. Dax hits a Verticla Suplex and tags Cash back in the match. FTR picks Marko up by his hair and slams him. Marko tries to fight back again but Cash kills him with a European Uppercut.

Marko attempts a Moonsault Press off the top but Cash catches him only for Marko to catch him with a Spinning Headscissors and a dropkick. Jungle Boy tags in and hits an Atomic Drop on Cash and Dax and Enziguris from Marko. Jungle Boy and Marko hit Rolling Kicks to FTR and then Jungle Boy Monkey Flips Marko into a Rana on Cash sending him to the outside. Marko hits a Tope Suicida onto FTR on the outside followed by an Asai Moonsault from Jungle Boy!

During the break, FTR dropped Marko on the top rope with a crazy Flapjack. Cash hits a Spinebuster on Marko and then Drop Toe Holds him and allows Dax to hit an Elbow Drop for a series of nearfalls. Cash puts Marko in a Gory Special but Marko manages to roll him up for two.

Dax tags in and stops Marko from tagging out and goes for a Powerbomb but Mark counters and tags Jungle Boy. Jungle Boy hits a series of dropkicks to FTR and then a big Lariat to Dax. He hits Cash with a big Lariat and then a Backstabber for Dax for two. Jungle Boy lifts Dax up to the top rope and hits a big Frankensteiner for a nearfall.

Jungle Boy hits Cash with a Brainbsuter but that allows Dax to roll him up for two. Jungle Boy superkicks Dax and then drops Marko on top of him with a Senton for a nearfall. Marko goes for Sliced Bread but Dax tosses him across the ring. Dax hits a big Lariat after taking his elbow pad off. Marko low blows Dax in the corner where the referee couldn’t see and hits the Sliced Bread for a nearfall.

The kick out sends Mark out to the floor. FTR distracts the referee allowing Tully to slam Marko into the ring post. Jungle Boy chases Tully but eats a Lariat from Cash and then gets sent into the barricade. In the ring, FTR hits the Big Rig for the pin.

Winners: FTR

NWA World Women’s Championship
Serena Deeb (c) vs. Tay Conti

Deeb and Conti lockup and the two break out some nice mat wrestling to open things up. Conti attempts a Spinning Heel Kick but Deeb blocks it only for Conti to sweep her leg with the other foot and lock in a Heel Hook. Deeb counters into a chinlock. Conti counters with a Headscissors and then breaks out a Judo throw.

Deeb takes Conti down and puts her in a Grounded Wristlock but Conti nips up and locks her in a Triangle. Deeb breaks the hold and hits a Sliding Clothesline for a two count. Deeb sets up for Detox but Conti backdrops her and then hits a nasty Pump Kick.

Conti hits a Full Nelson Stunner for a nearfall. Conti puts Deeb in a submission but Deeb counters into a Brock Lock. Conti gets to the rope to break the hold but Deeb pulls her back into the center of the ring only for Conti to roll her up for two. Deeb comes back with a Gutbuster for a two count of her own.

Deeb lifts Conti up to the top rope and Deeb locks her in a Hanging Gory Special on the top rope. Conti kicks her away after she releases it and then dives over the top of her and hits a Pump Kick. Conti goes for the TayKO but Deeb blocks it and counters into the Detox for the pin.

Winner & STILL NWA Champ: Serena Deeb

Darby Allin (c) vs. “The Machine” Brian Cage w/Team Taz

Taz joins commentary and reveals that Tony Khan has ordered that only two members of Team Taz – Ricky Starks and Hook for this match – can be at ringside. Darby dropkicks Cage to the floor and then hits a Tope Suicida. Allin slams Cage into the barricade and goes for another Tope but Cage catches him in midair and hits a Brainbuster on the floor!

Back in the ring, Cage destroys Allin with a Shortarm Lariat after Allin slapped him. Cage Press Slam Allin over the top rope and through the time keeper’s table! Good God! Cage lifts Allin up and carries up onto the ramp and tosses him back in the ring where he then lifts him up and slams him to the mat repeatedly showing off the blood trickling down Allin’s forehead.

Cage hits a Running Uppercut followed by an Enziguri and then a Release German Suplex! Cage Biel Throws Allin into the turnbuckles repeatedly and then just reigns down right hands.

Cage hits a series of Deadlift Powerbombs just destroying Allin but Allin lifts up and flips Cage off. Cage grabs Allin and Powerbombs him over the top rope onto the stage. Cage drags Allin up to the top rope and hits a Superplex but Allin kicks out at one and Cage starts to get hot.

Cage grabs the ring steps and set them up at ringside. Cage drags Allin onto the ring apron and attempts to slam him on them but Allin escapes and dropkicks Cage. Cage holds on to the ropes but Allin bites him causing Cage to fall onto the steps. Allin then hits a Coffin Drop off the top rope onto Cage on the steps!

Allin and Cage both make it back in the ring before the 10-count and Allin explodes with a series of strikes and then goes for the Springboard Coffin Drop but Cage catches him. Allin bites Cage and hits a Flipping Stunner and then wraps Cage’s legs up with his belt and trips him.

Allin charges at Cage but Cage lifts him up in the air and slams him only for Allin to come back with a Code Red as Cage was taking the belt off. 1…2…NO Cage kicks out! Allin hits a Shotgun Dropkick sending Cage into the corner but only gets two but Allin leaps up to the middle rope and hits a Ghetto Stomp!

Allin goes to the top as Hook distracts the referee and Starks trips Allin. The lights go out and Sting hits Starks with the bat! Cage kicks Allin but looks over at Sting who stares back. Cage lifts Allin up but Allin catches him with a Super Crucifix Bomb for the pin!

Winner & STILL TNT Champ: Darby Allin

Post-match, Sting gets into the ring and stares at Allin. Cage heads out, barking at Sting. Team Taz is beyond annoyed as snow falls down on them. The group heads to the back as Sting watches them.
