Possible Broken Arm For Candice LeRae

Possible Broken Arm For Candice LeRae

Possible Broken Arm For Candice LeRae – Team Candice may have won WarGames at tonight’s NXT Takeover event, but the leader of the team is being checked out for an injury.

As noted, Team Shotzi (Rhea Ripley, Ember Moon, Shotzi Blackheart, and NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai) defeated Team LeRae (Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae, Raquel González, and Toni Storm) in a star-studded battle, which saw Raquel Gonzales pinning Io Shirai after she powerbombed Io through a ladder.

During the post-TakeOver conference with Triple H, he states that Candice LeRae is being checked out for a possible broken arm. He confirms that he hasn’t heard a follow-up on her injury but she is getting x-rays.

Although not confirmed when the possible broken arm occurred, it is speculated it was during a spot with a steel chair as Shotzi Blackheart lept off the ladder (see below).

This was only the second women’s WarGames in history as last year ushered in the first. LeRae was on the winning team last year as well which makes her 2-for-2 at the event. Rhea Ripley picked up the win for her team last year after they suffered a severe deficit after Dakota Kai turned on Tegan Nox.

Other than LeRae – Kai, Ripley, and Io Shirai also competed in their second WarGames match.
