More on AEW – Impact Partnership, Impact Stars React – As noted, Kenny Omega defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW World Championship with an assist from Don Callis.
For those of you that missed it, Callis tossed a microphone into the ring for Omega to use on Moxley as a weapon.
Callis, who is an executive at Impact Wrestling, ran off with his long-time friend Omega into a waiting car. Before they left, Callis told Alex Marvez that they would explain their actions this Tuesday night on Impact Wrestling on AXS TV. On Twitter, he later said that “AEW screwed AEW“.
On their Twitter account, Impact Wrestling also commented after retweeting a clip from AEW’s Twitter, “Tuesdays are the new Wednesdays!” AEW’s Twitter said “Hi” to Impact Wrestling, but the tweet has since been deleted.
It certainly looks like a working relationship has been established between AEW and Impact and it also looks like we haven’t seen the last of Moxley vs. Omega with the rematch likely for the February Revolution pay-per-view.
