Impact Wrestling Results – December 1, 2020 – Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcome fans to Impact Wrestling! We kick things off with a tag team grudge match!

XXXL vs. The Motor City Machine Guns

The Guns attacked Larry D and Acey Romero before the bell and dazzled them with double-team maneuvers.  They sent them to the floor.  Sabin nailed a tope to the floor onto them.  Shelley came off the top with an axe-handle and worked over D.  Sabin tagged in with an axe-handle of his own.  Lots of fast back and forth tag matches.

The announcers wondered why Larry D wasn’t in jail for shooting John E. Bravo.  Yeah, no kidding!

The Guns continued to work over Romero.  Shelley was unable to pull off a bodyslam.  Neither was Sabin.  Romero reversed the Sabin attempt and slammed him.  The Guns nailed stereo dropkicks on Romero but he still didn’t go down.  D got involved but was nailed.  Shelley was finally taken down and worked over. They yanked on his extremities but Sabin got involved before being dispatched back to the floor.  XXXL continued working over Shelley.  D nailed a superkick to the head for a two count, stopped only when Shelley draped his leg across the bottom rope.   They squashed Shelley between them.  Romero nailed a big back senton splash for a two count.

Sabin interfered and nailed a takedown on Romero.  Shelley nailed Sliced Bread #2 and tagged out to Sabin, finally.  The Guns cleaned house and nailed a Flatliner/dropkick combination.  Sabin tried to lift D up but he was too heavy.  Sabin was dragged into XXXL’s corner.  They double-teamed Sabin but he kicked out at the last second off the old Demolition finisher.  Sabin ducked when XXXL charged to squash him.  They wiped each other out.  Sabin tried to mount some offense but was caught with a big uranage from Romero.  D missed a top rope headbutt.  Sabin nailed a bulldog on Romero.  They nailed stereo superkicks on D then hit stereo suplex on Romero.  They drilled D with kicks.  Shelley nailed a splash off the top and scored the pin.

Your winners, The Motor City Machine Guns!

Good tag match.

Josh Mathews and Madison Rayne welcomed everyone to the show and previewed the lineup for tonight.   They stated Eddie Edwards was at home recovering from last week’s beatdown.

Scott D’Amore told Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock they went too far.  He suspended Shamrock for 30 days.  Shamrock lost it.  Callihan calmed him down and said Shamrock was a Hall of Famer and he needed a vacation.  He said he was going to call Bob Ryder and get him a flight to the Bahamas.  Obviously, this was taped before Ryder sadly passed away.  He gave Shamrock his car keys and told him to go back to the hotel.  Shamrock said he’s going to put his hands on someone when he comes back.

John E. Bravo went at Larry D for shooting him.  D grabbed him by the throat.  Tommy Dreamer separated them and made Bravo leave.  He claimed he was ther Police and that Larry D needed to come downtown with him.  D said he was being set up.  Dreamer said he came tell them downtown.  Dreamer even claimed to have a badge.  D attacked him and laid him out and XXXL left.  Bravo returned to find Dreamer laid out and told someone to call for the police before screaming “NOOOO” like Ash from Evil Dead, a callback to Dreamer doing it when Bravo was shot.

Renee Michelle & Killer Kelly vs. Jazz & Jordynne Grace – Knockouts Tag Team Championship Tournament

Michelle came out looking like a star.  Jazz and Kelly should have a really interesting, fun chemistry in the ring.

Kelly and Grace started out with some nice back and forth action.  Jazz and Michelle tagged in.  They locked up with Jazz grabbing a waistlock and bringing Michelle to the mat, drilling her with crossfaces for a two count.

Jazz worked over Michelle’s arm before tagging Grace back in.  They whipped Michelle into the ropes and nailed a nice double tackle.  Michelle had some good facial expressions while selling.  Grace waffled her with forearms but was nailed with an elbow as she charged.  Michelle sent her to the outside on the apron.  Kelly went to nail her but was hit, setting up Michelle dropkicking her off the apron.

When Impact returned from commercial, Michelle was working over Grace in the corner.  She drilled Grace with a snapmare and cinched in a side chinlock.  Kelly tagged in and nailed a running kick.  She worked over Grace, beating her with a series of strikes.  Grace finally caught Kelly with a spinebuster and tagged out to Jazz.  Jazz nailed everyone with clotheslines.  She looked good in the ring, nailing a series of right hands on Kelly, scoring a two count.

Grace tagged in and nailed a series of clotheslines on Kelly.  Kelly finally caught her coming and nailed a big headbutt to the face.  Kelly nailed a running dropkick but Grace draped her leg over the top rope.  Kelly went to use a Firewoman’s Carry but Grace drilled her across the back and nailed the GraceDriver.  Michelle broke up the pinfall but Jazz tossed her to the floor.

Jazz nailed a Flapjack but doesn’t realize Michelle blind-tagged herself in.  She attacked Jazz but was hit with the Jazz-Stinger and pinned.

Your winners, Jordynne Grace & Jazz!

Impact+ Flashback was Generation Me vs. The Motor City Machine Guns in a Full Metal Mayhem Match.

Backstage, Ethan Page said everyone saw him lose to Swoggle and everyone loves screwing with Page.  He said everyone loves messing with him.  He said he has a plan to fix it all.  He said that Karl Anderson thinks he took out Gallows.  He asked why.  He admitted he was the one who took out Gallows and challenged Anderson to fight him at Final Resolution.  He said Anderson knows what he has to do and challenged him to a match.  If Page beats Anderson, The North gets the title shot they deserve.  Josh Alexander looked more and more “done” with Page the more he ranted.

They aired a Final Resolution commercial for 12/12.

Tenille Dashwood and Kaleb with a K caught up with Alisha Edwards backstage.  They tried to talk to her but she saw Sami and attacked him before security pulled her off.  They are obviously building to a final confrontation with Edwards vs. Callihan.

Johnny Swinger vs. Cody Deaner.

Deaner controlled the ring early on, beating Swinger.  He began stomping away at Swinger.  Eric Young and Joe Doering hit the ring, attacking Cousin Jake on the way.  Swinger thought he was in cahoots with them but was laid out with a Chokenstein.  Young nailed a piledriver on Deaner.

Young took the mic and said this will continue and go on until the eyes are open.  He said they are the cure for the sickness.  The disease has taken over, but they will win and they will prevail.  He said the quicker everyone heeds his warnings and look into his eyes and know the truth, the world belongs to us.  He said that he told everyone the world doesn’t belong to you, it belongs to us.  Young plays an incredible, believable psycho.

Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee approached Jim Mitchell and asked if he had turned Su Yung into Susie yet.  He said that they don’t understand this isn’t an exact silence.  He doesn’t even have Su yet.  Deonna said they would go to the ring and call her out and told Mitchell to be ready.

Backstage, The Deaners were pissed they were laid out by Eric Young and Joe Doering.  Cody said this was personal and it wasn’t about them, it was about him.  He said Eric Young was there the very first day Cody went to wrestling school.  He drove Young all over the roads and considered him family.  Young treats him like he’s a nobody and he’s not a nobody.  Next week, he will prove to Eric Young he’s not a nobody.

Deonna Purrazzo and Kimber Lee came to the ring.

Purrazzo said Su Yung has been haunting them since Bound for Glory and tonight, that was all going to come to an end.  She said that if Su Yung wants her rematch, she better come to the ring right now.

Yung made her way to the ring but before anything could happen, Jim Mitchell came out to the stage.  He said he really didn’t want to have to do this, but she has been nothing but trouble for too long, so tonight, she will pay for her sins.  The Undead Bridesmaids came towards the ring for Yung.  They surrounded the ring and slowly entered.  Purrazzo attacked Yung but was laid out.  Kimber Lee nailed Yung but it didn’t really hurt her.  Yung went for the Mandible Claw but Purrazzo grabbed her.  Yung went for the mist but Purrazzo choked her.  Yung began gagging on her own mist and nailed the Cradle Piledriver.  He told the Bridesmaids to take Yung.  They began to drag her out as Mitchell laughed on stage.  They dragged her out.

Backstage, Chris Bey was working out when Moose approached him.  Moose said he wants to beat Rich Swann’s best friend and to put himself in line for a title shot.  Bey thought Moose wanted to be in his corner and then when he gets the title, Moose wants the first title shot.  Moose told him real power is taken, so if Bey becomes successful and win the title tonight, Moose will take the belt anytime he chooses.  He told Bey good luck and walked off.

Gia Miller interviewed Karl Anderson.  He said Ethan Page is clearly losing his mind and accepted the challenge for a match at Final Resolution.

X-Division Champion Rohit Raju vs. Crazzy Steve

Raju was almost pinned several times early on.  Raju was sent into the ropes but powdered out to the floor.  After spending some time playing Larry Zbyszko, Raju returned to the ring but was caught by Steve with several moves. He slipped off a Fireman’s Carry and shoved Steve into the buckles.  Steve caught him in the upside down armbar.  Steve then bit him on the arm several times, channeling George Steele.  Raju caught him with a leaping Flatliner out of nowhere for a two count.

After a commercial, Raju nailed several big moves for near falls and stomped away at Steve in the corner.  Raju worked over Steve.  Steve went for a DDT but Raju turned it into a Fisherman’s Buster for a two count.  Raju controlled the ring and drilled Steve into the buckles.  Raju kept swarming over him, intensely working him over.  Raju nailed a suplex for a two count.  Steve shocked Raju with a submmission, tying him up.  Raju made it to the ropes but Steve refused to release at first.

Steve avoided a running knee and went for a crucifix.  Raju grabbed the ropes and covered Steve, holding onto them for leverage and scoring the pin.

Your winner and still X-Division Champion, Rohit Raju!

backstage, Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan were excited about potentially winning the Knockout Tag Team titles and were excited about all the cash they stole from Fallah Bahh.  He showed up and said they were thieves.  They said he didn’t have proof.  He said he shared it on Twitter.  They claimed they didn’t have the money on them.  They said next week, they’d have the money.  He walked out.  Johnny Swinger showed up and asked them if they ever heard of the Swingman’s Two for One special.  Tasha asked, “Who’s Uncle is this?”  That was funny.  They blew him off.

Backstage, Crazzy Steve was upset he didn’t win to TJP.  Brian Myers told them that he told them it wouldn’t work and knocked them.  TJP challenged him to a match and Myers said that if he wanted to be the next on his hit list, he’s got it.

Chris Bey vs. Willie Mack

They went for a test of strength early but Bey slapped Mack.  Mack fired back with authority and beat him down in the corner with stomps.  Mack chopped him hard in the chest.  Mack teased another and grabbed the nipples.  He then beat Bey across the back.  Bey cut him off and went for a charge, only to be hit with a Lou Thesz Press and beaten until he rolled out of the ring.

Bey nailed Mack with a kick but was caught going for a sliding kick, nailed with a sideslam on the apron.  Bey cut off Mack and nailed his knee as they went to commercial.  When they returned, Bey was working over the knee on the mat with a spinning toehold.  Mack was almost pinned several times.  Bey turned it over into a single-leg Boston Crab.  Mack tried to fight his way to the ropes.  Mack made it to the ropes to force a break but Bey continued to wail away at him.  Mack, limping, tried to fire back and they began throwing down.

Bey kicked the bad knee but was caught with a clothesline as he rebounded off the ropes.  Mack made a comeback and nailed a big slam.  They fired back and forth until Bey caught him with a Code Red for a close two count.  Bey measured Mack as he returned to his feet and went for a kick.  Mack caught him and nailed a big elevated stunner for the three count.

Your winner, Willie Mack!

Moose hit the ring and speared Mack.  Rich Swann hit the ring and attacked Moose, knocking him from the ring to the floor.  Moose smiled at him as Bey nailed the Art of Finesse on Swann, then held up the Impact title to close the show as Moose watched from the background.
