WWE Bringing Back Released Superstar? – WWE could be bringing back No Way Jose despite releasing him earlier this year.
No Way Jose was part of the mass talent and staff cuts by WWE in April. After having a run in NXT, he was called up to the main roster and placed on Raw where he was initially featured and squashed jobbers. Shortly thereafter, WWE stopped pushing him.
Fightful Select reported that talent from both inside and outside WWE revealed the company has an interest in bringing back the former WWE star.
Per the report, the media outlet reached out to WWE to see if this was true, but the company could not confirm he has been signed or will be making any future appearances.
It was said that Jose was well-liked in both NXT and Raw locker rooms. After being released by WWE, he started working independent wrestling shows under the name Levy Valenz.
If you recall, WWE did bring back Heath Slater, who is now going by Heath Miller, after he was released to work a match against Drew McIntyre.
Slater has stated in various interviews that WWE wanted him to make two more appearances including a match at Extreme Rules. However, that didn’t happen.
