On tonight’s NXT episode, Io Shirai popped up in a brief promo in which she called out Rhea Ripley, challenging the superstar to a match for the NXT Women’s Championship.
In the promo, Io Shirai said that she’s not afraid of Rhea or of nightmares, and said that she wanted to face off one-on-one against Ripley to show her just how much better she is. It’s unknown when the match will take place, but after defeating Raquel Gonzalez at Halloween Havoc, Ripley will no doubt be ready for another title opportunity.
