Something to look for in the next couple of months is whether or not Ronda Rousey returns to WWE programming.
Based on what she told TMZ in 2019, her deal expires on April 10, 2021, which means that WrestleMania 37 would be her last major show with the company unless she decides to sign a new deal.
It’s worth noting that Rousey has taken shots at Becky Lynch on her Twitch stream, which seems to be planting the seeds for a match. The last time they faced off was at WrestleMania 35 in a Triple Threat Match that also included Charlotte Flair.
The plan at the time was to do a rematch between Lynch vs. Flair the following year but with Rousey taking time away to try to start a family and the pandemic forcing WWE to change plans, the match did not occur this year. Lynch is due to give birth in December so that gives her time to prepare for WrestleMania if she decides to return to the wrestling ring.
WrestleMania 37 could be when we finally see the Lynch vs. Rousey singles match and it could be Rousey’s last match with WWE if she opts wrap up her wrestling career.
