The anticipated “Black Adam” film starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is currently without a release date.
Warner Bros. has made a slew of release date changes. Deadline reports the film, which was originally slated to be released on December 22, 2021, is now temporarily listed without a date. This is due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Batman, Matrix 4, and more also saw their release dates either pushed back or moved up.
The good news is that production on Black Adam will begin early next year. Pre-production for the film was interrupted by the pandemic earlier this year. Originally, filming was supposed to start over the summer.
For those who are unfamiliar with the character, The Wrap described it as, “Black Adam was a member of a powerful ancient civilization whose people were conquered and enslaved more than 5,000 years ago.”
The former WWE Champion is currently filming “Red Notice’.” The Rock recently talked about the filming process on Red Notice in this post on Instagram:
