There was a brutal and to some people, a scary bump during the opening match of Wednesday’s NXT episode on the USA Network.
Shotzi Blackheart battled Dakota Kai on the show that was taped from Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University. During it, Blackheart took a rough-looking bump on the apron. In the process of the offensive move, she landed right on her head.
The good news is that she’s okay as she was able to shake it off and continue the match. Blackheart took to Twitter hours after the match had aired and made light of the situation.
She also provided a clip from her time on the independent wrestling scene of her performing the spot the correct way.
