This year’s WWE Draft is in the books, but the fallout from it continues including news from a recent report.
WWE released the rules as well as talent pools just one day ahead of the Draft that started last Friday on SmackDown and continued the following Monday on Raw.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that several wrestlers he spoke with told him that they were informed about where they would be in the WWE draft pool by the Fox Sports report that went up on Thursday afternoon.
There was at least one star that was said to have expressed displeasure about this. There were several wrestlers that actually found out they wouldn’t be included in the draft pools via the WWE statement that was sent out after the FOX Sports report came out.
The first official night with new rosters will start tonight on SmackDown. WWE has loaded up the card for this show including the likely main event of WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns defending against Braun Strowman.
The SmackDown Tag Team Titles will also be on the line. WWE also confirmed that Steve Austin will be appearing on the Kickoff Show ahead of SmackDown.
