Rich Swann is your new Impact World Champion! Swann won the Impact World Championship against Eric Young at tonight’s Bound for Glory.
After a hard-hitting match, Swan finally hit a phoenix splash to put Young away via pinfall. Post-match, a number of wrestlers came out to the ring to congratulate Swann. This is Swann’s first title reign as Impact World Champion.
Tonight’s Bound For Glory PPV also saw The North winning the Impact World Tag Team Championship against The Motor City Machine Guns, The Good Brothers, Madman Fulton and Ace Austin.
Near the end of the match, Page whacked Karl Anderson in the head with one of the titles while the referee was distracted. This allowed Josh Alexander to pick up the pinfall victory. This is The North’s second title reign.
Also, Rhino won the “Call Your Shot” Battle Royal and he will now get a title shot of his choosing in the future.
Another stipulation in this match was if Heath or Rhino won, then Heath wins a full-time contract with Impact Wrestling. If neither won, Rhino was fired, and Heath is gone for good. Since Rhino won, he stays with the company, and Heath is now full-time with Impact.
As noted earlier, Su Yung becomes Knockouts Champion in a shocking return.
