At TakeOver 31 tomorrow night, we will finally find out who is the NXT mystery person in the vignettes that have aired in the last couple of weeks on NXT shows.
The belief is that the vignettes are building towards the return of someone who was part of NXT several years ago. Many have speculated that Robert Roode could be that person but he was ruled out when he returned to action last week on Monday Night Raw.
Another name that has been floated is the first NXT Champion Bo Dallas. The 30-year-old has not been seen on a WWE show since last November.
There are two tweets that point to Dallas being the mystery person returning tomorrow night at TakeOver 31. The first tweet is from last December where he said, “I’m on a life changing expedition right now and the next time you see me it will be a Bo You’ve never seen #Bosway #WWE.”
The next week from March 17 says the following: “I remember you. #TheOriginalNXTChampion #TheFutureWasAlwaysNOW.”
So it looks like there were plans to have him return to NXT. We were told last year that there were ideas pitched to have Bo Dallas repackaged with a different gimmick.
