At NXT TakeOver 31, many fans were curious to see which superstar was behind the vignettes teasing a return of a mystery person at the event.
After Io Shirai retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Candice LeRae, fans got their answer.
Another vignette played, and the superstar in question was riding a motorcycle. The mysterious person then came to the stage to confront Shirai. When they took their motorcycle helmet off, it was Ember Moon.
The former NXT Women’s Champion has been sidelined with an Achilles injury since last fall. She confronted Shirai, hinting that she’s coming for the title.
