According to PWInsider, Andrade and Angel Garza will no longer be paired together.
This comes after the duo’s loss at Clash of Champions against The Street Profits. Andrade then cut a promo the following night on RAW, saying he’s done with Zelina Vega and Angel Garza.
As noted, at Clash of Champions Garza suffered a small tear in his quad during the exchange with Montez Ford. He heard a small pop, felt the heat from the tear, and told the referee that he could not continue.
Garza noted that the MRI revealed the tear isn’t as serious as it could’ve been. He’s already undergoing treatment and will not need surgery. It was also noted that if all goes well he expects to be out of action for 7-15 days, but it could be 3 weeks before he’s back.
The pairing had frequently clashed on-screen, so this break-up isn’t much of a shock and manager Zelina Vega recently left the duo to pursue the RAW Women’s Championship held by Asuka.
