Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and we see what happened last week when Orton faced Big Show.
Randy says for 20 years he has been in the WWE and he has been called several names. The Apex Predator, the Viper, the Legend Killer. He was the youngest WWE Champion in history and he won the title 12 more times. He has been part of many iconic teams. Legacy, the Authority, and Evolution. Randy says when he thinks about the greats, he thinks about Steve Austin and the Rock, but they cannot hold a candle to his longevity and his accolades. He can do whatever he wants to whoever he wants to and that will not change..
Something’s missing. Randy says he hasn’t been able to put his finger on it. He woke up this morning and it hit him like a ton of bricks. Randy says he wants to become WWE Champion… again. Randy says that means he has to bring Drew McIntyre into the conversation. Randy says if they were going to compare resumes, it would be a short conversation. Ten years ago, Drew was the Chosen One, but his head was so far up his ass and he got himself fired. Drew fought and clawed to get back into the ring. He showed hunger, ambition, and hustle.
Drew has his respect because he beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania and he did it in quick fashion. Drew, I am talking to you now. You got a problem and that problem is that you have what I want. Randy says he has a tendency to take things in the biggest and grandest manners. Randy tells Drew he wants a title match at SummerSlam. When I RKO you and take your title, you will never see it coming.
Randy heads to the back and Nia Jax makes her way to the ring.
– Jax marches to the ring. The crowd boos. Jax says she just heard Randy Orton Orton talk about waking up and knowing what he wants. She knows how it feels. She woke up this morning and wanted to become RAW Women’s Champion. Jax talks about how she was screwed by a certain referee last month. She says Charlotte Flair hasn’t been seen since. She mentions Asuka’s match with WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks later tonight but she wants to… the music interrupts and out comes Shayna Baszler to the ring.
Baszler enters the ring and gets in Jax’s face with a mic. Baszler tells Jax nobody gives a damn what she wants. Jax pulls back and drops Baszler in the middle of the ring. Jax attacks and they brawl. Referees rush down to break the fight up. We go to commercial.
#1 Contender’s Triple Threat: The Viking Raiders vs. Cedric Alexander and Ricochet vs. Andrade and Angel Garza
Back from the break and RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits are in the ring – Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They hype tonight’s Triple Threat with the winner going on to challenge for their titles at SummerSlam. The introduce The Viking Raiders first and here comes Erik and Ivar. Ford and Dawkins introduce Cedric Alexander and Ricochet next. They take shots at the next team before introducing them. Out come Andrade and Angel Garza with Zelina Vega.
Andrade and Garza hit the ring and attack The Viking Raiders, sending Erik and Ivar out to the floor. Garza snatches his pants off as things start to settle down with Ford and Dawkins joining the announcers for commentary. Cedric and Ricochet look on after Andrade and Garza go after them. Andrade and Garza go to ringside and taunt the champs after Garza’s pants are tossed at them. We go to commercial with The Profits having words at ringside with Andrade and Garza.
Back from the break and Cedric is going at it with Ivar. Ivar fights off Cedric’s speed and levels him. Ricochet comes in for some double teaming as Ivar takes enziguris. Erik tags in and the two teams face off. Vega has her clients at ringside looking on. The Vikings, Cedric and Ricochet turn their attention to Garza and Andrade now. Cedric and Ricochet double team Garza in the ring. The Vikings double team Andrade on the outside and he gets slammed by Ivar. Erik then slams Ivar on top of Andrade on the outside.
Cedric and Ricochet double team Andrade in the ring now. Andrade takes a snap suplex and a kick to the face off the double team. Ricochet ends up dropkicking Ivar out of the ring. Erik squares up with Ricochet but Andrade drops Erik from behind. Andrade holds Erik while Ricochet nails him now. Andrade and Ricochet double team Erik in the corner to some boos. Andrade with a running knee to Erik in the corner. Ricochet with a big knee of his own. Ricochet goes for the pin but Andrade stops him and they have words. Andrade tries to bait Ricochet and it almost backfires. Ivar unloads on Andrade now. Ivar with a big belly-to-belly suplex. More back and forth between the teams. Erik unloads on Garza now. Erik launches Garza with a suplex and then sends him into the corner with double knees. Erik and Ivar pose together in the middle of the ring for a pop as we go back to commercial.
We are back and Andrade and Garza kick Erik and Ivar. Garza with an arm bar on Ivar and then they send Ivar into the ringside barrier. Garza sends Alexander into the plexiglass. Andrade with the running double knee strike to Erik for a near fall. Erik with a forearm and Ricochet and Garza tag in and Ricochet with punches. Ricochet with a running chop and Irish whip. Ricochet with a shoulder nto the corner followed by a kick from the apron. Ricochet with a springboard clothesline and shooting star press for a near fall. Alexander tags in and Garza with a super kick to Ricochet and Alexander super kicks Garza. Ivar with a kick to Alexander. Andrade with a back elbow to Ivar. Erik with a hip lock and knee to Andrade. Garza with a knee to Erik.
Ivar goes up top and he hits a senton onto Erik, Alexander, and Ricochet but Garza is able to escape. Garza with the Wing Clipper for the three count.
Winners: Andrade and Angel Garza
After the match, Ford and Dawkins applaud Andrade and Garza. Andrade and Garza confront Dawkins and Ford and they start to walk away but it was a trap and they attack the champions and throw the hood of the announce table on Dawkins and Ford before leaving.
– Nia Jax is talking to John Cone in the back as we go to commercial.
Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler
The bell rings and they exchange punches. Nia sends Shayna to the apron and floor. Nia follows and sends Shayna into the plexiglass and the referee gets to ten.
Double Count Out
After the match, they continue to battle outside the ring and security gets involved. Shayna applies the Kirfuda Clutch to a security member. Nia pushes one of the agents into Shayna and Nia tosses him aside. Nia knocks Shayna off the apron.
– We take a look back at the Mysterio/Rollins feud.
Backstage:
Seth Rollins is in the back and he is with Buddy Murphy. Seth asks Murphy if he is with him. Buddy asks Seth if he thinks Dominik will show up tonight. Seth says Dominik will show up because people like him cannot get out of their own way. Seth says the Greater Good will move forward and it will be different.
We go to commercial.
– We are back and Mark Henry is talking to Ruby Riott and Bianca Belair.
In the Arena:
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring with Buddy Murphy.
Seth says at Extreme Rules, he defeated the legend Rey Mysterio and last week on Raw, he defeated Aleister Black. Seth says he is on a roll and should be in a great mood, but he is not. Dominik Mysterio is here and he plans to confront me. This seems to be a recurring theme. When the greater good takes two steps forward, someone stands in his way and they have to take a step backwards. The ugliness in all of this is that someone seems to get hurt every step of the way.
Kevin Owens stood in my way and he broke his ankle. We know what happened to Rey Mysterio. Last week, Aleister Black, who continues to be a thorn in his side, injured his arm. That is not how I want things to be. I don’t want to be the person who hurts people. The last time Dominik said he was coming to Raw to confront me, Dominik jumped me from behind and things got more violent than they deserved. Tonight will be different because Dominik does not have to hide in the shadows and jump him from behind.
Seth says he has a soft spot in his heart for the Mysterio family. Seth asks for Dominik to come to the ring to confront him face to face and man to man. Seth says he wants to talk it out.
Dominik Mysterio comes to the stage and Seth invites him to the ring and Seth says he won’t hurt Dominik. Buddy holds the ropes open for Dominik.
Seth says he wants to give Dominik the opportunity and he says he is a benevolent man. He tells Dominik that he is here for Dominik. If you need any guidance . . . Seth holds his arms open for Dominik.
Dominik with a double leg take down but Buddy punches and kicks Dominik. Murphy with punches to Dominik. Dominik is sent into the ringside barrier. They continue to send Dominik into the ringside barrier. Dominik is sent into the announce table.
Aleister Black comes to the ring to help Dominik and go after Seth and Buddy. Murphy goes after the injured arm and Seth sends Black into the plexiglass. Murphy with a kick to Black. Black sets for Black Out and hits it.
Seth tells Murphy he knows what he has to do. He asks Murphy if he is in this for real. He slaps Murphy and tells him what he has to do. Murphy grabs Black and tries to push his eye into the edge of the steps and he does it.
Murphy goes for Dominik but Dominik hits Buddy and Seth with a kendo stick, as they retreat in the back.
Backstage:
Mustafa Ali is in the back and R Truth shows up. Truth mentions that Ali is on the MVP Lounge. Truth asks Ali if he is going after the 24/7 Title. Ali says he has a match against Lashley tonight. Truth says he is going to get his baby back and he tells Mufasa he has his eyes on him. Back to commercial.
VIP Lounge:
We are back and MVP is in the ring with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin for the VIP Lounge.
MVP says he tried to celebrate his victory at Extreme Rules last week, but the night didn’t go the way it was supposed to go. MVP says he had the opportunity to meet a young man who he never met before. Where this man has been, he does not know and he does not care. He is someone he would like to help. This is a man who talks about chasing the light and he wants this man to see the light.
Mustafa Ali makes his way to the ring.
MVP welcomes Ali to the VIP Lounge and give him a chance to experience the good life. This is where made men congregate. You make good decisions and good things happen. When you make a bad decision, you become a dissatisfied customer of the Hurt Business.
Ali asks about the stockholders of the Hurt Business since him and his ‘little friends’ put the Hurt Business out of business. Ali says he is happy. He is happy that he is back. He is happy to be on Raw and that he has the opportunity to climb the ladder and the opportunity to become a champion… a real champion.
MVP tells Ali that he is talented and he sees wonderful things happening to you. Those things you said can happen, but it comes down to making the right decisions. When you hang out with the right people, good things happen.
Ali says he is not buying what MVP is selling. He thinks for himself.
MVP says Ali is not thinking well right now. You are facing Bobby Lashley tonight. MVP says Apollo Crews went down the path you did and now he is at home watching this on his couch. You can join us and party like a rock star or you can sit at home next to Apollo Crews. You can be champion or chum in the water for predators.
Ali thinks about it and he says no. He does not care what the proposal is. R Truth suddenly attacks Shelton Benjamin and rolls him up on the floor for a near fall. Truth goes through the ring and heads to the back as we go to commercial.
Mustafa Ali vs.Bobby Lashley
Lashley marks a line in the ring and tells Lashley to cross it. Ali gets in Lashley’s face and Lashley pushes Ali to the mat. Lashley with a clothesline and biel. Lashley with a running shoulder into the corner. Lashley with elbows in the corner. Lashley with a punch. Lashley sends Ali into the air and then sends him face first into the mat. Lashley with a punch. Lashley sets for a suplex but he runs Ali into the corner instead. Lashley with kicks in the corner. Lashley sets for a delayed vertical suplex and hits it.
Akira Tozawa rolls up Shelton Benjamin and gets a near fall. Benjamin sends Tozawa into the ringside barrier. MVP and Benjamin take care of ninjas and then Lashley clotheslines a ninja and runs him into the ring post. Out of nowhere, Ali with a suicide dive to Lashley’s back and it sends him into the plexiglass as we go to commercial.
We are back and Lashley chokes Ali in the ropes and connects with forearms. Lashley chokes Ali. Lashley pushes Ali to the floor on a springboard move. Lashley sends Ali into the ring post. Ali is sent into the ringside barrier. Lashley with elbows and a nerve hold. Lashley with a leaping flatliner for a near fall. Lashley gets another near fall. Lashley presses Ali over his head but Ali escapes. Lashley with a kick and Ali lands on his feet on a Dominator. Lashley runs into a boot and Ali with a tornado DDT. Ali goes up top and rolls through on a 450 splash when Lashley moves. Lashley with a full nelson and Ali taps out.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
– Dolph Ziggler is in the back and Charly Caruso asks Dolph if he knows what the stipulation is for tonight. Dolph says Randy can wait because he is going to win the title at SummerSlam.

RAW Women’s Championship: Asuka vs. Sasha Banks
Bayley and Sasha Banks make their way to the ring and of course they have something to say befor the match.
Sasha Banks says nobody likes a bully and there is no bigger bully than Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie is making her defend her title against Asuka tonight. It is because she is jealous of Sasha. Stephanie is jealous of both of them. It is because they have all the gold. Bayley says whether it is NXT, Smackdown, or Raw, they are the show. Bayley says they make it look easy. They lead by example and they fight injustice. When Asuka spit that disgusting green stuff in the referee’s face, Bayley had to make sure he was okay and then Bayley saw Sasha on top of Asuka and made the three count. Sasha says they would hold all the gold. They said they would change the game. Bayley says Sasha will make Asuka tap out tonight.
Asuka and Kairi Sane make thei way to the ring. Kairi chases Bayley to the back before the match starts as we go to commercial.
They lock up and Sasha with an arm bar. Sasha with a drop kick but Asuka with a drop kick of her own. Asuka with a hip attack into the corner followed by kicks. Asuka with a snap mare and kick to the back. Asuka with kicks to the chest and shoulder. Sasha ducks a kick and Asuka rolls through and kicks Sasha for a near fall. Sasha with a kick to Asuka but Asuka with a take down and she goes for a Fujiwara arm bar. Sasha tries to roll through and Asuka with a cross arm breaker. Sasha rolls through and gets to the ropes and Asuka releases the hold. Asuka misses a forearm in the corner. Sasha blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes.
Sasha puts Asuka in the ropes and hits a lungblower for a near fall. Sasha goes for a Boston Crab and turns it into a single leg crab. Sasha stomps on the back of the knee as she continues to work on the leg. Sasha with a spinning toe hold but Asuka kicks Sasha to the floor. Sasha says she is leaving due to the lack of respect. The referee starts his count and Sasha throws the tag title belt into the ring. The referee sees Sasha toss the belt to Asuka and does not buy it.
Sasha argues with the referee and Asuka with a round kick as we go to commercial.
We are back and Asuka with punches. Sasha with a drop kick to the knee. Sasha with a kneeDT. Sasha gets a near fall. Sasha with a spinning toe hold and kicks to Asuka. Sasha chokes Asuka in the corner. Sasha puts Asuka’s leg in the ropes and adds more pressure. Asuka kicks Sasha and Sasha kicks the good leg and slams the injured leg into the mat. Asuka with chops and a pop up knee. Sasha goes to the apron. Asuka goes for a hip attack and Sasha moves. Asuka gets caught in the ropes and Sasha slides to the floor and pulls Asuka down to the mat. Sasha slams the knee into the apron. Sasha gets a near fall.
Sasha with a kick to the chest. Sasha with a double knee drop for a near fall. Sasha with a single leg crab. Sasha traps an arm to add more pressure. Sasha puts the leg in the ropes and punches the knee. Sasha runs into a back elbow from Asuka. Asuak with a body scissors into a knee bar. Asuka with an ankle lock. Sasha rolls through and sends Asuka into the turnbuckles. Sasha wtih a running double knee strike in the corner. Sasha goes to the turnbuckles and Asuka hits a Codebreaker. Both struggle to get back to their feet before the ten count.
Asuka with slaps but she misses a back fist. Sasha with an O’Connor Roll for a near fall. Sasha goes to the turnbuckles and Asuka kicks Sasha in the leg. Asuka with a trapped leg German suplex. Asuka with a hip attack for a near fall. Asuka puts Sasha on the turnbuckles and Sasha with punches to the injured leg and Asuka is sent to the mat with a head butt. Sasha with a frog splash for a near fall. Sasha with Banks Statement. Asuka tries to get to the ropes but Sasha pushes off. Asuka goes for an Asuka Lock and Sasha sends Asuka to the floor. Sasha misses a baseball slide and Sasha drops Asuka’s knee on the announce table.
Asuka crawls to get back into the ring but she powers up at nine to beat the count. Sasha yells at the referee for counting to ten and not skipping any numbers. Sasha taunts Asuka and Asuka with a rollup for a near fall. Sasha with Banks Statement. Sasha turns it into a crossface. Asuka escapes and applies an ankle lock. Sasha tries to sends Asuka into the turnbuckles but Asuka with a missile drop kick.
We see Bayley attacking Kairi Sane in the back.
Back in the ring Asuka with a German suplex and she tries for the Asuka Lock. Asuka sees what is going on from the TitanTron and Asuka releases the hold. Asuka goes to the back and the referee starts his count and gets to ten.
Winner by Count Out and NEW RAW Women’s Champion: Sasha Banks
After the match, Asuka checks on Kairi Sane while Bayley celebrates with Sasha. Back to commercial.
– We are back and Charly Caruso is outside the medical office and she gives an update on Kairi Sane. Sasha Banks and Bayley show up to gloat about Sasha’s victory. After they leave, Asuka shows uo and is asked about Kairi’s condition. Asuka yells in Japanese.
– We have a video package to pay tribute to Regis Philbin.
Murphy vs. Humberto Carrillo
Murphy with shoulders as the bell rings. Murphy sends Humberto into the turnbuckles and chops him. Carrillo with chops. Carrillo with a springboard back elbow and he kicks Murphy in the corner. Carrillo with kicks. Murphy sends Carrillo to the apron and then Carrillo with a shoulder and he flips over Murphy. Carrrillo with a springboard round kick and a suicide dive. Carrillo goes up top and Murphy knocks Carrillo off the turnbuckles into the ringside barrier.
Murphy pushes Carrillo into the plexiglass and then Murphy with a kick when they return to the ring. Murphy with a rear chin lock. Carrillo backs Murphy into the corner but Murphy with a kick and he sends Carrillo into the turnbuckles but Carrillo with a back elbow. Murphy crotches Carrillo and connects with forearms to the back. Murphy runs into a super kick and both men are down. Carrillo with a forearm but Murphy fires back. They go back and forth. Murphy with a back heel kick and a front kick. Murphy misses a kick and Carrillo with a spinning back heel kick. Carrillo is sent to the apron and Carrillo with a kick. Carrillo goes up top and hits a missile drop kick.
Carrillo gets a near fall. Carrillo goes up top and Murphy goes to the apron so Carrillo goes to the apron too. Carrillo with a bicycle kick. Carrillo gets Murphy on his shoulders but Murphy gets into the ring and connects with a forearm to the lower back. Carrillo with an elbow and he comes off the turnbuckles into a jumping knee and Murphy’s Law for the three count.
Winner: Murphy

In the Arena:
We are back and Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring and he says he has to address the comments made earlier tonight by Randy Orton. It’s official. At SummerSlam it will be Drew McIntyre versus Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Drew says he won’t pretend he has the pedigree that you do or the number of titles you won. You are on fire and you are the biggest threat to his championship. Most people think that Drew is the underdog. Drew says he hopes that is what Randy is thinking. Underestimate me like Brock Lesnar did. You will see the Claymore coming.
Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring before he knows the stipulation for the match. Dolph says he waited a week and he wants to hear the stipulation. Drew says he was so inspired that you chose an Extreme Rules Match that he is going to do it. You can use chairs to beat me down. You can try to crush my windpipe. There is only one difference. I can too.
Drew punches Ziggler as we go to commercial.
Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler in an Extreme Rules Non Title Match
Ziggler with a thumb to the eye and he goes to the floor and gets a chair but Drew grabs it. Ziggler with a super kick and Drew is sent into the ring post. Ziggler sends Drew into the plexiglass. Drew with an elbow when he avoids being sent into the ring post. Drew with a chop. Drew picks up Dolph and tosses him into the plexiglass. Drew gets a kendo stick and hits Dolph with it. Drew with a side Russian leg sweep using the kendo stick into the ringside barrier. Drew with another shot using the kendo stick. Drew chokes Dolph with the kendo stick and then Drew sends Dolph into the ring post.
Drew sends Dolph back into the ring and Drew gets some chairs and throws them into the ring. Drew also gets a table from under the ring. Drew chops Dolph. Drew puts the table against the turnbuckles and he stops Dolph from getting a chair. Drew hits Dolph in the back with a chair. Dolph with a low blow to stop Drew. Drew goes to the floor and Dolph follows. Dolph has a kendo stick and hits Drew with it and he chokes Drew with it.
Dolph hits Drew in the leg with the kendo stick. Dolph hits Drew in the back and rakes the kendo stick across the eyes. Dolph with a side Russian leg sweep into the plexiglass using the kendo stick. Drew takes the kendo stick from Dolph and hits him with it. Dolph with a kick to the knee. Drew sends Dolph to the apron. Drew catches Dolph off the apron and Drew with a running tackle through the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.
We are back and Ziggler struggles to get back to his feet. Drew sends Dolph back into the ring. Dolph hits Drew low when he gets back into the ring. Dolph with a kick but Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by a second one. Drew goes up top for a clothesline. Dolph avoids a Future Shock DDT and Dolph hits a Fameasser. Dolph goes up top and Drew stops him. Drew with a chop and he punches Ziggler on the turnbuckles. Drew sets for a superplex and hits it. Drew sets for the Claymore but Ziggler with a Zig Zag for a near fall.
Ziggler has a chair and Drew with a Claymore that sends Ziggler through the table for the three count.
Winner: Drew McIntyre
After the match, Drew sees Ziggler roll out of the ring. McIntyre celebrates in the middle of the ring when… It’s a Bird… It’s a Plane… It’s Randy Orton with an RKO out of nowhere!
Orton kneels down and takes a look at the belt as his music starts up. Orton grabs the title and raises it over Drew as RAW goes off the air.
