WWE RAW Results - July 13, 2020

We are at the WWE Performance Center and Montel Vontavious Porter is in the ring for the VIP Lounge.

MVP brings out his guest, who is so much better than you that he is one of the most selfless people he knows. When Drew McIntyre was an unemployed bum, he took Drew in to make him the man he is today. Drew is so ungrateful he won’t even say thank you to the man who made him. MVP says his guest will show off and show out at Extreme Rules.

MVP brings out Dolph Ziggler.

We see what happened last week with Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre and the post match festivities with Dolph Ziggler and Heath.

Dolph says when he wins on Sunday, he will get something like the new US Title belt.

MVP says that we know that Drew is legit but you made him. You know what makes Drew tick. MVP says he respects the fact that Dolph hasn’t disclosed the stipulation before the match.

Dolph says he knows what makes Drew tick and what can turn him back into the old Drew McIntyre that was fired. He brought Drew from obscurity and brought him to Raw. How many times has Drew mentioned his name? Zero times. Without him, Drew McIntyre does not beat Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Without him, Drew is not the WWE Champion. Without him, Drew is an unemployed loser looking for a hand out.

MVP thanks Dolph because he knows Drew won’t do it.

Dolph says it is that lack of gratitude and lack of thanks that is why Drew will lose the WWE title.

Drew McIntyre’s music plays and he comes to the ring.

Drew says he won’t tear up the set or Claymore MVP tonight. Drew says you brought Heath out last week and he has done some soul searching. He thought about his career and he thought about Dolph’s career. You used me. You used Mandy Rose and Big E. You used me. We were never friends. I was the muscle who did your dirty work. You might be one of the most talented performers in the ring, but on Sunday…

Dolph interrupts and says you are going to take me to Claymore Country. Drew says he will torture Dolph and make you regret the decision to call me to come to Raw. Everything that happens is on you. Drew says he doesn’t know if he can wait until Sunday. He wants some action now. Drew punches Dolph and then he fakes a head butt and gets MVP to flinch.

In the Arena:

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring.

Seth says an eye for an eye. An eye for an eye. Seth continues to repeat Eye for an Eye. What does that mean? Seth says he knows what it means. When Rey said it last week, he thought it was a metaphor for revenge. He says he has come to understand that Rey meant it literally. Seth says he is trying to comprehend and understand how they got to this point. Seth says he is trying to lead Raw to a brighter future. Rey has stood in the way of the greater good at all times. Now he is competing in a match at Extreme Rules where the only way to win is to pluck your opponent’s eye ball out of the socket. There has never been a match sanctioned that is this bariatric.

In many ways it will be a new beginning.

Kevin says he is not sorry to interrupt Seth. Last week, when I came up with the idea of having the winning team select the stipulation, I thought Rey would choose a Last Man Standing Match or a Cage match to keep your buddies out of the way. Then Rey chose an Eye for an Eye Match. You got Rey to want to gouge your eyes out. Kevin says he understands where Rey is coming from. Kevin says he was willing to end his career at Wrestlemania if it meant to shut up Seth.

Backstage:

Big Show is with Ric Flair and he tells Flair they need to talk. Flair reminds Show of his retirement and how people said he talked too long. I have been doing this for 48 years and 20 of them were with you. When I think about wrestling the big guys like Hansen, Brody, and Andre, the one with the most skill was you. You have unparalleled coordination but you have lost focus. You can’t do Hollywood and wrestle. That is why the Rock hasn’t come back. You don’t need this. You want to be everything the world thinks you are. People won’t change their mind about you. You should go into the Hall of Fame healthy, not with an injury due to Randy Orton.

Orton is the best right now and he has that confidence. It isn’t too late for you to say goodbye.

Show tells Flair he knows what Ric tried to do. You are a master at it. You are the dirtiest player in the game. I know what you have done to Randy Orton. He has never been more vicious or dangerous. – We are back with a look at how Randy Orton became the Legend Killer.

They laughed, bled, and fought together. He had Edge. He had Christian. He had the Big Show. He has Ric Flair. Edge came back at the Royal Rumble and all he had to do was step into the ring and be Rated RKO, but Edge couldn’t trust him that he knew what was best for Edge. To be a father and a husband and nurse that tricep injury. Then Christian came to Raw to defend the honor of his friend. There is nothing wrong with that but Christian selfishly accepted his challenge for one more match, an unsanctioned match.

You have Big Show. They have history together. He has known Show for 20 years. Show was one of the first to take him under his wing. Show showed him around the locker room and how things worked. Why would he worry about a few fractured skulls to end their friendship. Ric Flair is like family… he is family. It would be a shame if Ric did anything to jeopardize what they have. As far as my match goes and my opponent goes. R Truth has his respect. Truth has made everyone laugh and smile. It will be a shame when all Truth amounts to is one more chapter in the Legend Killer.

Ric Flair shows up and Flair tells him it is his time. Orton tells Flair he will be right behind him. We go to commercial.
